there's no overall consensus as to who the "Prince" is, but what exactly helps you qualify? jus curious...

Its all a matter of opinion, really.

For instance, as far as the Prince goes, I think its a three way tie: 1) Ron Ron 2) Jae Casino 3) Irv Da Phenom

A lot may disagree, but at the end of the day, its all a matter of opinion. But like SOUL MUTT said, whats the criteria?

I can't get over you saying Jae Casino what good songs does he have becuz the ones I heard on the radio are commercial garbage.

Truth be told, I've only heard a couple songs from Jae, so I'm not goin' on much. It can't all be about slangin' dope, reppin' ya hood, etc. If it is, KC as a whole will continue to remain in a box.

Sure, thats whats "sells". But if thats all you have, you really aren't doin' a whole lot. Hell, if I want to hear about ppl gettin' shot in the town, thats as simple as turnin' on the local news @ 5, 6, or 10pm.

I dont understand the love for Rich the Factor. Hes boring. Hes exactly like every other average rapper out there. Tech N9ne is 10000000x more talented and successful than Rich the Factor, yet he's the king of KCMO?
