he sounded a lil like rydah on that shady nate dj fresh on behalf of the streets shit on 'profilin' though..imo.now he sound like himself for sure

Thats the only song with lil b I got. Anyone surprised he's getting put on must not be paying attention to the gimmicks in the mainstream. He's one good video with a catchy hook away from being huge. Just wait until he makes an official cooking dance video, it would be a wrap after that.

As a whole, or speaking as a fan of Bay Area hip hop? Broadly speaking on both possible questions, not this. Like T-Rip had said right after me which put it in the most best terms I was aiming for in simplicity, there's no quality in it. No meaning, no value, no purpose. It's just to keep pumping more & more fabrication, lies, DECEPTION, hyperextending the arrogance that's already out there to an even more pathetic all time low. & you wonder why all these "big" named people (mainstream) are bringing him up? Because he's becoming a $$$$$ investment to those that can use his name & brand to push their own product, but is it even their genuine product to begin with or just another money making scheme to fool the listeners?? It's just with this clown everyone seems to be riding tough because like a Weezy, he says a lot of shit just to get the publicity which in return gets the sheep to follow easily which are usually the mainstream bay area listeners. It will continue working until it's not acknowledged or hyped anymore but then I wonder, who can top this low of low? (cuzz you know they arent about to flip the script & promote someone actually worth promoing)
I can guarentee you, most rappers lie and use deception to gain supporters. Even in the bay area. I figured this out 4-5 years ago. The people worth promoting are the people selling records, period.

shit no matter what you say about his music, its hard as fuck to sell out a show in NY, especially if its a hip hop show and you out of state/not from that coast/region at all. props where props is due, stop hating on the hustle, if anything, hate on his dumb ass fans actually buying/bumping/following his music

besides that "profilin" song wit shady nate, lil b also got a track with ruben stunner of livewire called "lighthouse," that shit knock hella hard. and these 3 lil b tracks are real dope too, imo. there's more dope tracks like this from lil b but i'm too lazy to look for them lol:

and about the "pretty bitch" type of songs and "cooking dance", i wouldn't slap them in my trunk or ipod nor would i be caught doing that dance but the videos are hella funny and entertaining to watch. my 2 cents ;)

ohhh no doubt about that. I guess the levels of fabrication that's being given now is just way over my personal preference to adjust to or even accept to give "credit" for something anyone can really do in the sense of 'wilding out' & acting ignorantly while being praised for it. For our region to have always specifically been such a respectable, liberating, & enriching in many different criterias (bay hip hop being one) & of all the years of all the many, many, many, MANY talented talents here, of all people that sell out a NYC show, of all the people that ppl (diddy, wayne) are supposedly hyping? lil b? lol, that should be alarming.

Anybody making money in music gets props from me. I just still hate his fuckin music and hate where Hip Hop is going in general. But again, if that's what the masses want and you can give it to them, good for you bruh, legal money equals sleeping well money.
