Most of the people that downloaded the leak have already pre-ordered it (like myself), plus the album only comes out in less than two weeks. Stop acting like you didn't know this leak was going to happen. With all the buzz around the album, it's bound to get leeched, and with how damn amazing the album is, people won't speculate if they're gonna buy it or not. There have been so many goddamn complaints on this board about how Killer won't be Killer, I'm sure it discouraged a lot of people and drove them to wonder about the album. Now with the leak, all second thoughts are put to rest, as most of the people who DON'T regular this board will see the buzz about the leak and make other people check the album out. Don't look at it as such a damn bad thing, I could see if it leaked back in February or some shit, but cmon, this is less than two weeks before it comes out.

First of all, Shut up nate, second sorry for bringing back an old thread. T-Lou why would you speak from outside the box about another forum goer's relationship to tech you just made yourself look stupid, This leak should have been CAPITOLIZED ON (FTI) use what you got make it intentional and bring back FTI, If i was tech or travis i would have flooded Myspace with the FTI campaign as soon as it leaked. as a fan I am happy it leaked. It gives the leechers a chance to listen, get hooked and the get reeled in on july 1st, last I checked techs sales went up due to the FTI sh%$

I also find it pretty hypocritical of Strange to be trying to "put this fire out" when they're the same ones that were hollering "F.T.I." years ago. One of the core components of the F.T.I. Movement was the mindset of "We'll let you download Absolute Power and you're still going to buy it." People are downloading Killer... they're still going to buy it. Or do exactly as Tech said about Absolute Power/the F.T.I. Movement, and that is not like it and delete it. I guess not carring about people downloading the album was fine when you were grabbing at straws after Slacker failed.

I also find it hilarious that there is this scramble to stomp out this leak when Tech himself has said in the past that "if your shit ain't leaking, it means no ones looking for you." Chin up Tech, chin up Trav, your shit leaked... people are looking for you.

Couldn't of been put better. Every artists album that hit stores leak in the scene daily and Strange is just another one. I will buy a copy when it comes out but for 2 reeasons cause my opinion of the album is thumbs down. 1. It's ten dollars. 2. It's supporting the only artist that i feel lyriclly/production wise!(Besides Crooked I COP BOSS) lol but yeah. AZ Up!
