I find it retarded for L.D.S. to be on here crying or complaining about the leak, it's not like it's your time and money that's being passed around the internet like a nude celebrity picture, damn.

I also find it pretty hypocritical of Strange to be trying to "put this fire out" when they're the same ones that were hollering "F.T.I." years ago. One of the core components of the F.T.I. Movement was the mindset of "We'll let you download Absolute Power and you're still going to buy it." People are downloading Killer... they're still going to buy it. Or do exactly as Tech said about Absolute Power/the F.T.I. Movement, and that is not like it and delete it. I guess not carring about people downloading the album was fine when you were grabbing at straws after Slacker failed.

I also find it hilarious that there is this scramble to stomp out this leak when Tech himself has said in the past that "if your shit ain't leaking, it means no ones looking for you." Chin up Tech, chin up Trav, your shit leaked... people are looking for you.

LDS is trying to fit in with the top dogs lol. from my point of view i love the fact it's leaked cause now i can listen to it earlier. no point on waiting when it's right there. and yes i already pre-ordered my copies at strange and FYE so 2 are coming my way on july 1st.

from Strange point of view i can see how it can hurt them and that does suck for them cause it seems like they put ALOT of work into this album. well if tech's still FTI then maybe he can use it for his advantage

This same thing happened to a friend of mine who put an album out...that has NO national distribution. What does that tell you? EVERYTHING gets leaked some way or another.

Anyways, this album is amazing to say the least.

Most people on this forum had the shit pre-ordered anyways and every album leaks. Especially since tech seemed to have a lot of copies to play for people. I'm actually suprised it took that long.

On a side note immortal techniques shit leaked and it goes hard also, have to go cop that.

Don't wanna sound like a broken record but I do think you're overreacting a little, L.D.S...

Like I said in another post, I'm honestly of the mindset that most of the regulars in this forum who are downloading this, WILL still be buying it 7/1... including myself. And I really don't see where the shock is in this leaking... it IS less than two weeks away. If they play their cards right this shouldn't play a factor in moving units.

By the way if an artist is trying to make a living on CD sales, they're living in the 90's. Tech and every other artist I like gets my support through merchandise and ticket sales.

I do not think I have ever seen any album not leak at least one week before its released and sales for some of those mainstream artists still sell copies.
I really do not like too much rap these days cause everyone is shit so I actually download those artists and never buy shit. Tech on the other hand I am getting a few copies and after hearing the album I am going to be running around the bars in Waikiki letting the Hawaiians sample some of this music cause its shit hot.

Leaking won't do shit, motherfuckers who don't cop the album weren't going to anyways. The only difference now is we have the album 2 weeks early instead of waiting july 1st to download it, and not buy it.
