I hope the bay *NEVER* blows up, and I doubt it will in the First Place...

^^^good shit. if youre gonna do something you gotta go all the way. me, you could catch me on the dance floor hella drooling and going hella turrets with that shit

yeah i see what youre saying, and youre right to a degree, but i didnt say the ONLY reason ppl like certain music is cause mtv shows it, but i do think its the main reason. its kinda like a little brother liking everything his older square bear brother does, just cause its his older brother and he doesnt know any better. like i said, if a random guy played the laffy taffy song (before it became big), ppl would think hes stupid. but if their favorite radio station or mtv play it, theyll end up liking it. ive seen it personally in ppl. i used to play mac dre and nobody gave a shit about it. now its getting radio play and these same ppl are getting all excited dancing like gophers at the club.

cant happen. business has taken over music and has watered down the actual art in it. if you wanna make some money maybe you should start making "dumb" and "stupid" music. if lil jon supports it, the rest will all fall into place

with your statement directed to me i hear your point and yes mainstream has shoved pop music down or throat and forced sum artists to switch shit up however if u wanna talk bizzness i disagree with your staetment about changing the music to hyphy to sell... the demograhic is showing that sales are not fitting the buzz that the movement is getting i will be the first to jump behind anything good for the bay im just tellin the real.... fact of the matter is the sales arent adding up to the hype as far as you using lil jon as a example when crunk was at its peak he did very well however his demograph declined aswell from sellin 2 million on one album to 1 million the next thats 1million people that didnt get it the second go around sure it prolly didnt hurt him to much since hes already in the public eye but it proof that sume gimmicks are just a fad but if you want longevity u have to stay consistant i aint sayin hyphy is a fad cuz i support it just stating bizznezz pz

the bay first blew up when mc hammer came along...then came the 2nd imo biggest explosion ever gangsta rap nwa, dre, 2pac, snoop, (people are still buying 2pac, snoop, ice cube, dre). Now somehow this hyphy movement will top everything else and the bay will...explode? i'd like to see it...i'd really like to see it.
