Steal them! He probably doesn't have the resources to follow up on any sort of legal action if you do. And since none of us are making profit from those pictures they would just order you to not use them at worst and at best you could be protected under any fair usage laws. Either way he loses out on $$$$!

I didn't say you would lose money because of your shitty pictures being used, I *directly implied* that you would lose money if you would go to court because since it's intellectual property YOU would be on your own as far as prosecution and bringing up charges against the offending party. All I would have to say is that I am using them for scholarly purposes (IE. Homework) and boom, your case suddenly holds no merit. All I would need to do is provide some sort of made up circumstantial evidence or bullshit corroborative evidence. You on the other hand would have to disprove this, which would be impossible with anything less than some sort of confession that I am *not* using your photos for some type of scholarly use.
