You can find studios in the $800-$900 range.
If you look at some of the houses in different barrios and wonder how some Mexicans can afford it, it's probably because their jefes and jefitas have kept the house for generations and move up to bigger better things. Others like myself have to rent but it's not too bad. We got a 2bdrm in a decent area in the South Side for $1224.

I used to stay out in Concord, Sacra and Gilas which are way less expensive but this is home. But yeah hella people have moved out to Sacra, Modesto from San Jo because of the prices.

Yeah no disrespect, here the Cats that get alot of respect are the ones from Vallejo, San Jo, San Francisco, almost any other city other than Oakland. See the difference I see from Stockton and Oakland, Oakland is more main stream. And if one foo from Stockton came disrespecting Oakland, alot of foos would jump him, instead of making it a one on one. When the Oakland foos first moved here, they didn't say shit, they weren't even deep. And then we find out the Government paid those Oakland families to move here, and then they started getting deep and started shit. The Mac Dre shit he brought it here, no Oakland foos, or other Bay Cats. You can ask 2 da Face, the Thizz himself brought his Thizz here, and no Oakland cat, can claim they brought the hyphy fad in Stockton. That's the difference, here you'll catch a one on one, in Oakland you'll get jumped, Like I almost did when I was at a Warriors game, some Nortenos from the Acorns and the 30s along with some black foos trippin of my 209 hat. Just respect and Like I said It'll be given back to you!
i mean i stayed in oakland so i know how oakland gets down niggaz i zdown to square up one on one,but u iz right about oakland niggaz on how they act a majority act ignorant, theres gangstaz everywhere in diff cities, sum more then others,i aint gunna go to a different city and diss it,im bay born bay raised i live in salida rite now and a-lot of niggaz will tell u from stockton to modesto back to salida that i put it down and i never disrespect a nigga unless he a scrap or he be tryna get mainy.im with that hyphy cuz i grew up in a ghetto not a varrio but all my norte homies wuz on sum ballin x4 status,i grew up around black foolz and i know how most of em act, thats why when them niggaz try to get hyphy wit me i get hyphy back and it aint liek im back in high skool where i just could take flight on anybody and get away with it,even thoe im 19 my hands been registerd since i wuz 17 az a license boxer,so im more careful now and more mature about tha situation, but damn nigga now u know i failed my english class cuz im writin shitty lol,but 4sho stay up.

Its seems as tho everything coming out the bay/valley/ Northern Cali is being associated with the Hyphy Movement. Its just a new label they have on the lifestyle we've been living in.

Unfortunatley this thread has compiled some of the most ignorant bullshit I've ever read. Nigger this, Nigger that, Nigga please shut the fuck up. For those that hate Hyphy music, it's literally just Hatin' plain and simple. Bay area music in general is on a highpoint right now, don't be afraid to venture beyond Casio Keyboard beats and early 90's Sir Dyno ryhmes, it won't hurt your "gangsta" image. It might be envy because not many people outside of the Norte cultre actually buy Norte music besides cats from Germany. I do have to say that I'm impressed with some artists like Big Tone who step outside of stereotypical shit you would hear and make QUALITY music that's worth buying. Also this talk about how Black people act like animals is hillarious, being Half Mex the other half White/Black I can say that every race can act like an ass, don't fake the funk, Mexicans aren't always the most friendly either when in a crowd. Either way, those who think outside of the box know good music in all forms. Those who chose to stay confined, stay there forever, nobody is missing you guys.

With time comes change, u must remember and respect the old ways as well as with these new trends welcome them,i mean no matter what a homie does or how he acts as long as he keeps a solid mind and when the shit hits the fan he is side by side or back to back with his fellow brothers then who cares.
Its just like when the cholo era came into play the pachucos put down their style an said they had no respect an had no class because they were wearing they dads work clothes.
Im the era of 1980's - 1990's an a lil into 2000 and its like when we from the 415 meaning b4 650 frisco to mountain view would go to san jo and the homiez would always call us mayate wanna be's because we had long hair an or corn rows an said blood ,the vets from san jo did not so much mind the blood part because hence blood came from the era of 1960's - 1970's an the vietnam era.Just like the word ese u say it nowadays an young homiez think u a scrap.
But hyphy may come an go or it may stay but ill stay old skoo cause that is me the one u catch with the white crayon burned baby cuffs wife beater an creases from my shoes to my shirt an a gas attendent jacket with my last name on the back hahaha.
con mucho respecto siccness members, follow carnales an enemigas.
if my grammar an spelling is shitty who cares im not on espn tryin to win a spelling bee haha.
Adding a lil more haha still awake haha
Hyphy is koo to get the females freaky an half naked, but aint nothing like poppin in sum old skoo cougnut, seagram or shit any old bay shit to get ready for a crazy night filled with fog an drama, then if the mood is koo pop sum oldies in an chill with a girl or 2 or shit just drink ur azz off with the homiez an chill an remember the good times past an present or think of the homiez gone or in la pinta, those are sum things hyphy will never be able to do for me what oldies an old bay shit can do for a good or bad mood.

Yeah that'll drive up some prices in that area. I'm assuming they're putting them downtown.
Yeah, the Arco arena is old and is in the Natomas area. The new one is trying to be put in downtown. The condo towers is in the downtown. This city is growing to fast and stretching out.It going to connect to other cities fast.People from the bay are moving here for lower living price while people from the valley are moving to the bay for more money.

Not far at all. It used to be a part of Sac, until they formed their own city. Its like 30 minutes from downtown or about 10 miles. Traffic out there sucks balls, thats why I like my neighborhood. Right across the river from downtown.

^Yea Sacramento's cheap as fuck... My baby moma lives out there and my cousin grew up out there...

Sacramento reminds me of a BIG ASS Fairfield it dosnt realy feel like a city to me. I'd move up there I just don't know if I want to have to drive 2-hours to get back to the bay when I wanted to. Actualy thats the only thing stopping me from going up that way.
No comparison to Fairfield.Lol.maybe Fresno, but not fairfield.
