The East coast just has basic lyrics from most of their rappers.

The West Coast rappers lyrics are tighter and beats are tighter.

The south barely has any talent when it comes to rappers. Only Ludacris has real skills from the south and Mystikal. All them other cats from the South are weak (excluding Scarface!)

Dont you guys think that these days in hip hop its about who PRODUCES your shit? Think about it... every track that the Neptunes put out is a hit (by the way, they aint Eastcoast like some dude said, i believe Virginia is considered the south ) Every track that Timbaland puts out is a hit, every track that Dre puts out is a hit. And you know what? Think about all them hits these producers make... are the lyrics really so great? No. Is the flow really so great? Not really. Look at 50 Cent, he's a prime example. Look at The Clipse...do you think that track would be as hot is it was if it was produced by somebody else. Nope. These days its the PRODUCERS who make the best talent. Remember how many units No Limit sold when they had Beats By The Pound? A grip. Remember how many units they sold when they got rid of Beats By The Pound? Not even close.
