Sony gives you shitty RCA AV cables, no component or HDMI. You can't even use the PS3's Blu-Ray player effectively without buying a $50 cable. Unacceptable. Instead of that shitty Talladega Nights movie, they should include at the very fucking least some component cables.
The price does not bother me nearly as much as the fact that out of 25 games available, 21 are on 360, and they look and play worse than on a $200 cheaper system.
You tell me.
If the Wii were $600 and the PS3 were only $250, would you complain and bash the Wii as much as you bash the PS3???

You made it sound like it was a big deal that the 360 comes with components. I had mentioned Comcast earlier in my post regarding HD. I was simply pointing out that the 360 aint special in that regard, comcast hands tham out when you spend the extra $40 for their HD box. Relax.

If the PS3 was $250, I'd bash the 360 for being overpriced... The Wii, if it was $600, would have the same graphical capablities as the PS3 and 360, and the same controller, I would imagine, so it would be worth the $600 to me. I wouldn't buy it, because that's too much for a console to me, but it would be a reasonable price.
hell yeah I would. especially if it had the same old tech as it does right now. I'd still complain even if it had tech similar to the ps3. I even think that the wii is overpriced, it should have been $200, and who knows why nintendo isnt shipping more units than they are because everybody knows there arent any production issues because its old tech! probably just trying to create more hype. i dont know why you think i think nintendo is infallible. I could name 100 dumbass things nintendo has done starting with cartridges on the n64.
We are talking about HD cables. As much as component cables will DO, HDMI is the way to get full use of your HD. You can buy component cables for $10...big whoop.

i dont see where youre trying to go with this but, in your scenario, of course i would complain if the wii was $600 as is, i'd be making an even bigger deal if this were the case, that would be the biggest ripoff in console history, considering the tech inside the wii. if the ps3 was 250, then damn sign me up, none of the games are that great but 250 for a blu ray player? i'll take it
If it's just a simple $10 cable, why the fuck does Sony charge $50 for it, and why do they not include it in the system to begin with. It's not nitpicking, you're paying $600 for an HD system, you should be able to use it in HD out of the box.

I paid $300 for the PS1, the christmas after it came out, loved it until I had to put it on it's fucking side just to play a game, after 6 months of use. Paid $329 for my PS2, got the Gran Turismo bundle, and wasn't able to play PS1 or blue backed PS2 games after 6 months. So don't tell me I hate Sony. Shit, Sony put food on my table, in a way, when I was testing for Visual Concepts, as I tested the PS2 version of ESPN NFL Football. But they shot themselves in the foot with the PS3.
I bought my 360 with grant money from my school, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to afford it, $400 is a lot for a system too, but it is a much better value than the PS3.
