hur hur hur.. i can count 2.

600 bucks out the box:

60 gb.

online free. (demos, psp games, ps1 games, movie trailers) down the road (ps3 games unboxed discounted, movies, music? most likely)

blue ray (no adapter needed for hd movies)

psp compatability.

pictures (compatible through usb, 3 memory card formats)

video (compatible through usb / digi cam)

web browsing

1080p hdmi.

wireless axis. 4 usb ports for charging, play and use 4 controlers.

wireless access.

x-box 360

400 bucks: out the box:

play games,

pay to go online. (choose how much and how long)

shell out another 2 or 3 hundred bucks for hd adapter.

shell out 50 bucks (wireless adapter)

shell out 15 bucks (play charge kit)

cooling towers.

freezing.

20 gb

(i'd rather pay 200 extra up front than to pay more than that down the line. i feel like x-box 360 shot their load. ps3 is just gonna get better it was built that way)

True the online is free. But, can you send voice or text messages to friends playing different games? Can you send an invite to a friend playing something else? Can you even see a friends list of people who aren't playing the same game as you? No, No, and No. There is a reason Xbox Live costs about $4.25 a month, it's damn worth it. PS3's Online is a joke.

The Blu-Ray HD-DVD battle has just begun, but there is little to no interest in either format for now, so this point is moot for the time being. I will say that seeing as how I have no need for HD movies, I don't like being forced to buy a blu-ray player with the PS3. I prefer the option of buying one seperately with the 360, if I decide I ever need it.

little known fact, you can hook the psp up to the 360 also.

Not out of the box, you need to buy a $50 cable for that.

wireless access.

x-box 360

shell out 50 bucks (wireless adapter) Again, optional.

shell out 15 bucks (play charge kit) same story...

cooling towers. Not really needed, and only $20

freezing. Very rarely happens.

20 gb... I agree with you on this, especially with the new video marketplace, we need a larger HDD.

(i'd rather pay 200 extra up front than to pay more than that down the line. i feel like x-box 360 shot their load. ps3 is just gonna get better it was built that way)
I'd rather use the extra $200+ I saved with the 360 and buy a Wii, which I am actually having more fun with than the 360 right now.

My justification comes from others agreeing with me with their pocketbooks, and not buying into all the hype.

To be honest with you, hardware doesn't mean shit. What matters is games, and simply put, PS3 has shit for games. Only 1 game worth buying that isn't already on the 360, and it's a damn FPS. I don't give 2 fucks about MGS4, DMC4, or FFXIII, the only game I would even bother with would be God of War 3, but that won't be out for a while...

Was gonnna get the PS3 untill I played it for a few days at my cousins and realized the graphics weren't a whole lot different than the 360.

Got the 360 for christmas, I wish I wouldn't have waited for the PS3 because I've waisted a year.

You can't beat inter game live audio and video chat, even when watching movies. The few bucks for online play is totally justifiable especially if you played online and both. The online play is quality period. Slim to no laggy games when I play madden, on PS2 and PS3 it's a whole different story epsecially all the damn glitches...

Don't even get me started on the badass networking you can do with the 360 and any PC running XP SP2 or XP Media Center Edition. I can stream all of my 27k mp3's along with videos to my 360, music during games.

The wireless controller is the shit, I can do everything from turning on the console and changing between gameplay and the dashboard on the fly, and not even having to get my ass up!

Screw sony, I've converted!

(what am i gonna do bugging somebody playing a different game? keep paying. i'll just wait till they get the online up to par. in the mean time i'll just keep downloading free shit, got 9 gb used plenty free space.)

The Blu-Ray HD-DVD battle has just begun, but there is little to no interest in either format for now, so this point is moot for the time being. (you have no interest cause you don't even have hdtv, your trying to say you got a lil over 720 p what you doing now making up resolutions that don't exist. i'm using 1080i hdmi/dvi on a computer monitor outlet on my hdtv.)

little known fact, you can hook the psp up to the 360 also.

(so what what you gonna do with it? you won't be able to use it as a remote?)

You can do this on 360 also

Not out of the box, you need to buy a $50 cable for that.

(1080p. hardware wise it's 1080p out the box step your game up and get with any variety of cable you need (at any cost) but if we're talking my case i got every cable available myself from upgrading my own entertainment center not just gaming.)

wireless access.

(yea pay for an adapter fuck'n clunker)

x-box 360

400 bucks: out the box:

^dumb talking hard about a fuck'n video game system. yea buddy!^
(yea play 2 platforms cause your 360 is'nt doin it for you. hardware wise your stuck, software wise it's just gonna get better don't even trip.

like i can't afford all three. step your game up.)

I dont hate the ps3 I just think its too expensive if the price dropped down a whole fucking lot and some better games came out than I would probably get one but I like my 360 and I actually just got live a week ago or so and a monthly fee of 7.99 is well well worth it IMO and like someone else was saying the hook-up between the 360 and your computer like media center and what not is awsome I dont I just dont see the point of ps3's high price tag I know its got blue ray and I've never seen a blue ray movie so I can't judge on that part.
