I've been hella thinking about this shit for the past 2 hours. Maybe I'm in love maybe I'm not, but I recently just broke up with my girl last week. We were dating for 8+ months. Ever since I broke up with her I feel like it was a mistake to let her go. She could be the one. I've been single for 6 years before I met her. I'm a pick SOB too!

But anyways, back to the topic. I want to hear stories and how much money was spent.

I'm divorced(for a year & a half so far) now but when I proposed to my X-wife it was on the morning of Mothers Day.


I'm not gonna get into numbers of how much I spent on her MD gift, ring etc. but I will say if I knew what kind of bitch I was proposing to, the cost of moving out after the break up, headaches behind my kid she would give me & the future child support order that I'm forced 2 pay....... I think I would of saved that Mothers Day money & just plain left the bitch.

Sometimes cheaper & easier is better.

But 8 months is not enough time. I made that mistake & wouldn't reccomend abyone else getting married so soon.

How old are you? If ur not atleast 30 years old. FORGET ABOUT IT!!!!!! I get tired of these cats in there early to mid 20's talking about wifing up a bitch. U still got hella macking years left in you.

I can understand ur 6 year relationship drought. I was single for 4 & a half years before I got with my current chick. I had plenty of fun. I know a relationship seems more secure then playing the field but its hella hard ass work, dedication, patience communcating for it to work & shouldn't be rushed. U got more time then you think homie. I miss the player life. I aint gonna lie. But its better to take yourself out the game then get forced out the game.

u might wanna be in a few long term relationships before u do anything crazy. 8 months aint shit, for real. u also might be thinking that there aren't 'any more fish in the sea' but there is (ya its cliche) but its true.

if u broke up with her its pbviously because u werent happy or she annoyed the fuck outta u somehow. move on to the next one and youll forget all about her

my asshole brother asked his loose bitch if they wanted 2 get married after having a million kids and same damn story exepct he only told my mom and then i eventually got it out of her as soon as he asked i yelled. "are you fuking kidding me" got my presents and went upstairs..probably killed the moment but idk i went mia in the house HAHA

Got damn you cannot read at all. Did I say I was going to propose or ask her to marry me? Nigga she ain't even my girl. You are dumb ass a a door knob. If you ain't got any thing better to say stay out of grown folks threads.

Besides, getting married is not a game and I don't take it lightly. I brought it up out of curiousity. You seem to have a pride issue when someone is calling you a child. Grow up bro.

Yeah I'm only 25 turning 26 in a couple months. But I was the one who broke up with her. She was happy and I think I disappointed her. She was going through some issues and she called me crying. I was at the work at the time and it sort of caught me off guard. I didn't know how to react or what to say at the time. So in her point of view, she felt I didn't give a shit or cared. But when I asked her about her problems she fuckin questions me. I don't know whats up with that. So I told her, maybe I'm not ready for this relationship thing. And since we broke up I do miss her. Also, for me to be dating her for 8 months says alot. I guess I do like her alot or maybe its love. Who the fuck knows. But I'm definitely not getting married anytime soon. But my goal is before 31.

that aint the half of it for some unknown reason she was mad at me that day so when she opened her gift she only seen the bear and not the ring tied around it, but the rest of the family seen the ring and was like what. since she didnt see it she was like oh its just that dumb bear i wanted and throughs it back in the bag. i was what the fuck pulled that shit out and pushed the ring in her face. then i was like see i told you i would ask you one day. now she tells me if it wasnt for her fam being there she would have told me no, but all i say is theres the door if you still feel that way. oh and by the way i had been with her for 3yrs before i asked and still with her after 5 long muthafuckin years. i need a blunt and forty.
