He is guilty just on circumstantial evidence anyways, the berkeley marina is real close to richmond where the bodies washed up.

If he had a different alibi then he's still be free by now but since his own alibi puts him @ the marina on christmas eve he's screwed.

If they charge him with double murder, then California has a double standard.

The state wants to try him for double homicide because she was pregnant with a baby, but the state also thinks that abortion should be legal because fetuses aren't "real people" yet.

Which is it going to be? You can't, or at least shouldn't have it both ways.

I don't know...but I would imagine that if you are not a doctor, it would be illegal to be performing abortions.

But if California views unborn babies as not being a real person, how can they then charge someone who kills a pregnant woman with double murder?

simple fact, you cannot go ANYWHERE with a full on 8 month old fetus and have it aborted....

Also, abortion is done by the choice of the mother...not the person standing next to her or anyone else for that matter.

Scott Peterson killed his wife, period. If he didn't physically DO IT. he had someone else's help.

If anyone disagrees, you're intitled to your opinion. But take into consideration your own reaction to YOUR pregnant wife missing for weeks? No parent, husband, family member, etc. has ever been seen on TV as calm, cool, and collected as he was.....an he was like that because he didn't give a shit, period.

The topic was about him being charged for killing the unborn child.
