who comes up with this horrorcore label, the artists or the fans? i've never heard lynch claim to be horrorcore, so i dunno why he's lumped into that group.

oh and fuck icp.
the term "horrorcore" was coined by Russel Simmons and The Flatlinerz

and Lynch admits to being horrorcore but he prefers the term "Ripgut"

I don't like the term horrorcore because it puts people in a box. It makes seem like everything an artist raps about is killing people if they have that label on them.

Majority of Sacramento outside of The Gardens & Whiteboys didnt like Lynch at 1st Bcuz they didnt understand the Shock value of the Baby eating shit. I couldnt relate to none of that shit, but his flow pattern was sick. I understand how now its a slew of artist with the same content but not the delivery or appeal outside of the Shock value. Those who do have talent appreciate those who dont but still support the movement. It's a grey area of rap and I think that's what attracts the fans bcuz it's not ya normal run of the mill. I'm not a fan of ICP, Twisted, KottonMouth Kings, etc. but I RESPECT their movement and ENVY the level of support and family values they instill amongst each other and there fans.

Lynch signing to Strange Music is the fit he's been looking for.

Shout out to MARS, MALICE, Tech N9ne, Eminem, Lynch, etc. for being great in a league of their own

I was a fan of Lynch when it was more gangster shit (SOTS), but when he started doing this "horrorcore" shit I just couldn't cosign. I am from Sac and there is a big difference between mob and horrorcore. No hate just not my cup of tea.
