what is horror core tho? is lynch horrorcore? i just listened 2 some shyt on utube and it all succed. icp and twiztid and all that other nonsense is just shocc 4 the sake of shocc. lynch is a lyricist, all that other shyt is straight trash. why would someone be proud of songs about shooting kids without any real content. i like lynch and his dark metaphors but all that other shyt just plain succs ass. i never liked icp, just a bunch of nonsense with no real talent in flow, lyrics or delivery. i got juggalo folks but i never saw what the big deal was. how do these guys have so many fans? is there really that many disconnected loser kids out there lookin for mentors?

You bet there is. There are Juggalos everywhere.

Seriously.

I don't like the music either but they definitely have a really huge following.

If we could just harness the same power in Sac then everyone would have platinum and gold plaques.

I don't understand it but it is there....

yeah the voice he raps in does remind me of ICP actually. i mean he has a style, im not hatin on the man. just not 4 me. he was cool when i talked 2 him so.... but that icp shyt? really just cant stand em. call me a hater but i think its senseless garbage. its easy 2 say abunch of shyt 2 shocc someone, much harder 2 actually paint a shoccing image with words and be coherent with the story....

Horrorcore?

Esham

Ganksta NIP

Flatlinerz

Mars

Triple 6

Dre Dog - I Hate You With A Passion

Necro & Ill Bill

SMCrazy

Sutter Kain aka DJ Bless

Doomsday Productions

Lynch

etc....

ICP is like a gate way drug to Horrorcore. Most people listen to em for a bit then move onto bigger and better things. They are pretty much our mainstream.

Content makes a rapper Horrorcore not style. Notice a lot of the shit I posted the styles arn't even close to the same. A lot of the content is tho.

Lynch is Horrorcore. Season of da Siccness is one of the top Horrorcore albums in the genre. Everyone for the most part has heard it and owns it. He is just a different style of an overall genre. Lynch is classic in the genre just like Flatlinerz, Esham, and NIP.

This song says it all.

At times even Eminem could be consider to fall into the Horrorcore category. Not anymore, but back when he started.

Horrorcore is a nitche genre. But the thing is about me compared to "normal" rappers is I actually do thangs in the game. My beats, my flow, my voice... give me that much more over everyone else in my genre. Remember this is a hustle. Anyone can rap. Being the big fish in a small pond gets you paid. Being a tadpole in a lake full of guppies ain't the business.

Brotha Lynch Hung is a horrorcore rapper. Read the back of the Now Eat CD. Doomsday Productions are horrorcore. Listen to my last radio show where they talk all about it. While everyone out there is losing money or faking the funk trying to sell their CD's to people that don't want to hear it, horrorcore has a strong following with hungery COLLECTORS waiting to buy what ever you have to offer. I can rap in the same voice as everyone else, or look like all these kids out there TRYING to make a dollar. But then I'd be jsut as broke as them fools too. In a market thats over saturated how will the artists reading this survive? Get your shit tight. Stand out or go unnoticed good or bad. Thats where the money is. Mac Dre taught us this years ago. Everyone TRIED to do what he did. But it was too late.

the funny thing is not all juggalos are white trash and dont bathe ha. Im a Juggalo i joined because I thought the culture was appealing and I loved the music..its not all about horrorcore because ICP doesnt do straight horrorcore. But I will say if it wasnt for ICP "horrorcore" music would not have the following it has today, don't get me wrong Esham,Lynch and Ganksta NIP did great things for it but I think it would have remained obsolete.

The thing that I like about juggalos is that they run the same circles for the most part that people that listen to Sacramento artists do. So in turn brings more fans to the movement. That is a great thing.

Bottom line if you are a underground head or juggalo we have a interest in some of the same music.

I love the horrorcore genre and fans. We've done mobb and horrorcore for the last 12 years and the horrorcore/juggalo/mad insane fans are the absolute best. Friendly, happy to be at the shows, want to buy the merch, don't cause trouble...basically EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE from the mobb crowd. I don't know about the rest of you, but I like to have fun at shows, not try to win the tough guy of the year award with a bunch of men dancing around because the girls are afriad to show up
