Let me break it down to my young Vatos on the board, I've been reading this post and will shed some history on it all.
Broders brothers are basically Mojados from Mexico who banded togehter inside the pintas for protection, alot of them have ties to the Mexican Cartels. So whoever told you they started on the streets of cali is wrong. They're paisas but there are shit load of them now. But they still don't fuck with La eme or the NF.
Around March of 1991, F-14 shot caller Gabriel Coronado got slashed to his throat in an attack by a NF homie named Leonel Cano in the Santa Clara County Jail.
This is the main shit that leads to Fresno's ranking from the NF control and name changed from F-14 to Bulldog Nation.

I agree they are just in the pintas.In Nevada pinta's their big in numbers.Since the Uniteds states is getting fuller with Paisas/Mojados.They grow more in the pintas to protect themselves.They don't worry about the fued with the NF and La eme since theirs so many inside some pintas.One of my fellow homeboyz was locked up in one of the Prisons in Nevada and he said that the Nortenos and Surenos were fighting so much that the BB"S told both side to stop or they will stop them from fighting each other to get some peace inside for a while.

My uncles, was locked up in LA for Drug charges, and La Eme checked him asked if he was from the north, he said nah, So he ended up with the others, You know, Arabs, Filipinos, Chinos, anything aside the major pinta gangs.
