I just can't see myself paying another homeboy for a verse,but like I said before I'm not in it for the money i just like spittin,not saying homeboy rap is totally whack but i don't think a verse is worth my money.

There isnt a big enough fan base for people to pay for a verse. The internet is killin everyone softly and many northeners prefer to bump other shit, rather than the people who represent them.
I ask many people if they listen to Homie rap n they will say no because it is annoying.

and i think a big part of that too is that there is no promotion, there is no advertising, record stores closin up shop n hangin up posters, so they are really annoyed by DRF and G.U.N. tracks since some people think that is all that exists.

i feel you homie.watch in the next few years there is gunna be less n less homeboy rap.but all it takes is 1 homie 2 blow this shit wide open.we are gunna do our part,but everbody has 2 play their positions.we do music for the love of it really.and as long as we see some return we are gunna continue....

In order for that to happen someone needs to work with some mainstream rapper/singer and make a cheezy ass love song. Or make a good hit that will sprout from worldstarhiphop.com,
  • I believe Lil Dee is quality worth for that site, im sure people worldwide will feel "Get The Money,"
  • Nsanity's video for "My Pupose" is dope as fuck but its a strictly Northener song,
  • Lil Coner seems to me if hes gettin cheap with his singers, n his beats, n gettin lazy on his flow
  • Goldtoes is doing alot, i just seen him on BabyBash n E40's new video but he doesn't portray what alot of us would like, but it definately is a 1st step than can lead to alot.

I did do a song with Vince, Flame and Icey on the same track back in 2007, he sent me the beat I wrote to it recorded it at my boys pad then I sent it to him to do his part when the song was finished I listened to it and realized that it was a mistake lol oh well dont have the song no more though it was called "Welcome to the City of Gilaz"
