Halloween getting shitty reviews

Man, I been looking forward to this movie for over a year.. had such high expectations for it cuz Rob Zombie can make one hell of a horror movie... but even bloody-disgusting gave it a terrible review.. last I checked at rottentomatoes.com it was at a 15%...

Still gonna watch it, no doubt. But from what Im hearing I dont think its gonna live up to my expectations.

i dont think the movie sucked at all.. its a thousand times better than the devils rejects.. i personally didnt really like that movie... my man fell asleep and i was bored to death. i expected better from rob zombie in that movie. halloween aint as good as house of 1000 courpses but it was good. idk why it got shitty reviews. its worth watchin.

I skipped through scenes in the DVD just to check the quality real quick and noticed it's filmed sort of old school with the exception of more gore.

High expectations get met with disapointment 100% of the time....I just enjoy watching new movies and always accept them for what they are...im not to critical.But that movie Bug thru me off cuz I went there thinking it was a horror flick and it was a tweeker flick......I didnt like that movie cuz i expected something else.If i went knowing what it was I would of enjoyed it.

SICK FUCKING MOVIE!!! I have NO idea what the critics are thinking.. espcially bloody-disgusting.com. THIS is how remakes should be done. Rob Zombie in the nail on the fucking head.

I'll admit the middle of the movie drags a bit and doesnt veer from the original at all.. but it was still well made. The killing scenes were extremely violent, as to be expected with a Rob Zombie film.

Its hard to compare it to House of 1000 (who the fuck said this movie sucked, by the way? youre smoking crack) or Devils Rejects or even the original Halloween for that matter. I cant say I like it more than the OG version but I will say it shits on every sequel (not including part 2 since that was actually part of part 1).

I highly recommend this movie.

yea when i first watched the devils rejects i heard from alot of ppl that it was the shit and rob zombie was the best bla bla bla and when i saw it i was truly dissapointed.... that movie is the WORST fuckin movie ive ever seen my entire life. shit sucked ass it was a piece of shit.. 1000 corpuses was coo considering the fact rob zombie directed it... im a michael myers fan also.. so when i saw the previews for it and seen rob zombie was the director i was dissapointed i thought the movie was gonna be a disgrace to the michael myers legend lol but i still watched it. expecting nothing good out of it.... i was surprised it wasnt that bad. i liked it , it was pretty good. it coulda been better tho.

yea i see wut ur saying... now a days horror movies are a fuckin joke. not enough blood n shit. zombie does do some pretty gory scenes. i dont dislike the dude. i liked 1000 courpses. and halloween is by far the best remake not done by the original director. idk why that movie got shitty reviews... i think the movie was pretty good. but i wouldnt say hes the shit either lol.... fo real that fuckin devils reject movie was a joke... in my opinion.. after that movie i lost respect for him. thats just me tho.

U might of been watching the "Workprint" version, and from what i heard Rob Zombie went back and shot more scenes and added more gore to the movie! I doubt u watched the final cut of the movie, especially if it were the Workprint that has been floating around.
