Statistically speaking, in the US, the rate of killing by guns is much higher by law enforcement versus the general population, something to the tune of 13,670% greater chance of being killed by the police by gun than a regular citizen, when you look at it as a per capita (and that is with highly conservative population numbers of both groups).
