this might sound a lil stupid especially 7 pages deep into the thread....I do want to get a hand gun (i know i need to pass the HSC test 1st) But im going to get a shotgun 1st. Now do i need to have an HSC to get a shotgun or can i just stroll into any gun store and buy a shotgun with a valid ID?.......Im gonna take the test today but if i dont need the HSC to buy a shotty then im gonna get the shotty today and take the test another time.

Out of the handguns I own my favorite is my Taurus Millenium Pro .45ACP... its compact, accurate, reliable, and you can get one for around $400...

i got a lifetime handgun permit for the state of Indiana... only place I can't carry a gun is in government buildings (library, post office, courthouse, etc...)...

and whenever you get pulled over and the police ask you if you got firearms in the vehicle they can't do shit but run the serial numbers to make sure they're not stolen...

for a first time buy i would go with a revolver, their easy to operate, cheaper, and no risk of jamming.

i own a ruger p95 and .44 colt anaconda but im probably gonna trade the 9mm for a rifle

i almost bought a 8 shot .38 special the other day but dude had cut off the barrel so i wasnt fuckin with it

first buy i would go with a glock 17 or something. easy to take down and clean... fairly cheap round... lightweight i mean you cant go wrong. and if you look in the paper you can find them for around 250

I got myself a glock 19 about two years ago, then about a year ago I got a mossberg 500 and an Oly Arms AR-15. I had to sell the AR though :0( I really needed a computer. Now i hardly ever use it and I regret selling the AR like a mothafucka.

blah...no sale on the mausbergs this week just the remington "security" $369 i think.....It's still a possibility that i will buy this one, just a lil pricey, since the mausberg "home security" is $100 cheaper.

^^^ either of those are good for home defense

keep an eye on big 5 and Turner'z, if you have one in your area, both usually have gaugez on sale

thats the first thing i ever learned about guns, they are always loaded, dont point them at people and keep yur finger off the trigger unless yur about to squeeze
