Apparently gimpy doesn't believe in humble players.. Every time someone mentions Gore is a humble man he has something to say..

Just something I noticed.

Proceed.
Every Time? You mean the ONE time I said anything?

Two if you count this.

We're just trying to say that Gore may end up out playing his contract (like T.O. did in Philly)... meaning that he may put up the numbers that justify being paid more. Sort of what he did this time. Not saying it's going to happen but it could because they had/have the same agent.

But I am not trying to say that Gore is like T.O. I am just comparing contract situations.
Your an idiot trying to compare gore to TO on the simple fact they got the same agents.........

You're an idiot, if you don't understand. They have the same agent and this agent has been known for trying to get the most for his players. He'll even have his players hold out. You need more knowledge on the game of football. Idiot!

So all football players think alike because of their agent....... They dont have a brain and cant think for themselves??????TO never wouldve signed that extension that pays him less then he is worth and he wouldnt play this year still on his 3rd round money........ Some players play for themselves and some play for their team.........

Your only arguement is that they both played for the niners and they have the same agent...... which is WEAK............

It's not an arguement. T.O. did sign an extension when he got to Philly. But I think he thinks that he got robbed and didn't get the money he deserved. So that's why he caused the trouble that he did. And yes, his agent had some to do with that.

I'll be there," Owens told the Inquirer on Friday. "I mean, the bottom line is that I still believe I deserve a new contract. I still believe I deserve more than what they've given me."

Looks like you don't know what you're talking about!

why is that a Raiders Fan is the one that's always fighting with everyone.....?

beside that point fuck the raiders .
Man.... I don't know why I am always fighting with everyone. I think when people disagree with my opinions they come at me wrong. I don't have a problem with people disagreeing, but keep it respectable. I don't come at people wrong until they come at me foul first.

And oh yeah.... screw the 49ers!

Yeah that could be true. T.O. did the same thing and they both have the same agents. Good point!

All you have said is they have the same agent......... How do you figure Gore is going to want a pay raise???? Other then they have the same agent..........

No one said that never happened...... I said DO NOT COMPARE THEM BECAUSE OF THE SIMPLE FACT THAT THEY HAVE THE SAME AGENT....... TO sign the contract because he thought he was worht that at the time???? TO outplay that contract in philly??????? His numbers in philly were down the whole time he was there...... If any thing he underplayed his contract...... He was just being greedy........

GORE STAYED WITH HIS ORIGINAL TEAM, DIDNT ASK FOR A TRADE, STILL GOING TO PLAY ON HIS 3RD ROUND CONTRACT THIS YEAR,THOUGHT OF THE TEAM BEFORE HIM AND SIGNED A CONTRACT THAT UNDER PAYS HIM THAT HE KNEW AT THE TIME UNDERPAID HIM......... Would TO do any of this????NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOO

Because they have the same agent doesnt mean that they are going to act the same.........

I can't really understand what you're trying to say. Gore did ask for a pay raise and he is not playing under that 3rd round contract this year. He just signed an extension. Where have you been?

The agent can't force the player to hold out, so that lies strictly on the player. I highly doubt Frank Gore would hold out.

Your arguement is lame, again.
When/where did I say he "forces" his clients to hold out? Read for yourself you idiot! My arguement is not lame.

"Rosenhaus is famously known both for his aggressive and sometimes risky approaches to the representation of his NFL clients, and also for often generating unpredictably large contracts for them. He represents some of the best-known and most flamboyant personalities in professional football. Early in his career he convinced NFL GM to allow cameras to document negotiations.

Rosenhaus clients often "hold out", willfully failing to appear for pre-season training camp and workout sessions, when their respective teams refuse to concede to Rosenhaus' demands for contract renegotiation. Opponents of such tactics hold that such players are failing to live up to legally binding contracts that were previously negotiated in good faith."

And I do think Gore would have held out if he didn't get his money. This same agent represents Lance Briggs too... and you see what he is causing over there in Chicago right?

I understand that you dont know exactly what your talking about.......

Base salaries are $450,000 (for 2007),$2.5 million (2008), $2.5 million (2009), $2.85 million (2010) and $2.9 million (2011). The contract includes a $4.165 million option bonus and roster bonuses of $1.75 million (2009), $1.85 million (2010) and $2 million (2011). Gore's full base salary of $2.5 million in 2009 is guaranteed.

450,000 is not 3rd round money??????? And he doesnt get a bonus til 2009....
Gore is worth more then 2.5, 2.8 and 2.9, so yes he is underpaid.........

$450,000 is 3rd money... But did he have $14 million in guaranteed with his 3rd round contract? Or did he get that $14 in guarantees after he signed the extension?
