Yeah everyone that goes to community college say the same shit it's like high school. And end bup dropping out. Anybody actually got experience going straight into a university? I have no clue about how to go about this. I'm 20 so I might as well do good with My life and not end up 28 years old on tool academy for using my bitch to much.
I'm also 20 right now and about to start my junior year. Out of HS, I went to a huge public university in Massachusetts, then I took a semester off and now I go to a decent-sized college here in CT.
If you have the $$ and SAT or ACT (They are important, but they may also consider HS grades... Plus your essay will be key, work hard on that cause as a dude that isn't coming straight from high school they will read this closely) I would say start at a university. If not, there is nothing wrong with a community college and plenty of adjunct professors from universities teach at them. Fuck it if 90% of the others quit, it's all about YOU being about it or bein without it... That is my personal credo, and so far it hasn't failed me.
One thing you could do is register for a few classes at a cc and then take a night class or somethin at a nearby university or college. Can be a good experience and a nice way to feel out campuses.
Basically the most important thing is getting the degree. In most cases, they're looking at the grades and what you did outside of class. More important than WHERE you went, at least as undergrad.
Good luck & props, I know it's hard to get back into it but it will pay off pimpin...
