whether you are killed by a catostrophic event or by old age, you die by plan of God. And whether you believe in the eternal soul or you just believe that death is the end of your existence, you have nothing to lament for. So, why such a statement? If the material body was a gift from God to the living entities so that they could play out their desires in this world, God has every right of taking it away. You fall when you put God on the level of man.
