i dont think theres anything wrong with banging. its what you do with it. theres too many indians and not enough chiefs..thats the real issue.
When i was a little ass kid, we made up gangs, wed jump people in and shit..little apartment gangs...Put bluntly i grew out of that shit around the time i learned about pussy and marijuana and i found a love for music and art. If i didnt have that, who knows?
My mom coulda not bought me spray paint at home depot..would i have become a banger? If she never bought me the book "spraycan art" i may have taken another course. But I gotta give it to my mom for letting me run with whatever my vision was, it was illegal but it led me to go to art school and pursue illustration seriously... and thats the thing, I think the parents and members of families need to teach the kids better from the jump, you could still bang, just find something you like to do in life. i mean i dont particularly see whats wrong with becoming a football star or making good money but still being from a set, as its said people grow up get responsibilities and have children..youve gotta have the smarts as an individual to take yourself farther and if youve never realized that, you might just get stuck in the hood cuz thats all you know.

ive known quite a few square ass gangbangers who wrote their own history as time went on...but the truth is they didnt bang shit...they just wore some shirts got in a few fights and thats about it..i know people who say theyre from a certain set but no one ever put them in....because they wanted to look cool..so maybe its in your mentality..because i never looked up to anyone in the hood and i never looked for 'the brother/father figure i never had'..
