To my understanding, Ya Boy controls his own destiny. He isn't signed to a major lable, so nobody has him on the shelf like say your favorite rapper mistah fab lol. Ya Boy could drop an album tomorrow if he wanted, I assume he is waiting for the right oppurtunity/situation to allow him to promote his album properly. Clyde Carson is just shit outta luck. BWS/Capitol is obviously not the place for him.

FYI he stills owes Done Deal / Deal Done an album the CEO at the time signed him to a two album deal about 6 months before he left to LA .. It's a matter of cashing him out what he owes or giving him a project. While the contract is old it is probably why he dropped so many mixtapes because had he dropped a project it would have been pulled off shelves.
