No doubt. It ain't like I'm saying Jay Rock is wack or nothing i think he's a good rapper, he's just not a rapper I would consider lyrical. I never rewind a Jay Rock track b/c I wanted to hear a line over. His music is for the streets.

To my understanding, Ya Boy controls his own destiny. He isn't signed to a major lable, so nobody has him on the shelf like say your favorite rapper mistah fab lol. Ya Boy could drop an album tomorrow if he wanted, I assume he is waiting for the right oppurtunity/situation to allow him to promote his album properly. Clyde Carson is just shit outta luck. BWS/Capitol is obviously not the place for him.

Maybe you should look at it from Ya Boy's perspective...He has a buzz that reaches all the way over seas. He has fan clubs in Austrialia and the UK. If he drops an album that doesn't get proper promo, and it flops, everything that he has done up until that point would be deemed a waste. I don't know what to say about Fab because I don't even know if he's really on Atlantic, but until Ya Boy is sure that his album will receive proper promotion, he should keep doing the mixtape thing. Albums that rappers drop just for the hell of it end up selling 850 copies like JR Writers new one did.

^NIPSEY HUSSLE IS FROM LA. Carson and Ya Boy don't have nearly the same oppurtunites as him simply because of the fact that they are from the Bay. Even though they both branched out of the Bay, Nipsey has a greater advantage due to the fact that he is from the Mecca of Westcoast music.

2 me ya boy has the same if not a better opp. than Nip Hussle...i mean YB co-signed by the game, chills wit famous white celebs like dat white boy from the hills, has a huge following and had a radio hit song wit "we run LA"...im anticipating Nip hussle & jay rock album more than a YB album..but id would rather have a carson album than all 3 of em
