kids nowadays live in a single parent household. so mom or dad aint there a lot so the tv/video game raises the child. 4th graders playing COD? hell no! would never let my 4th grade son play that game. imo.
also another factor is that too many pedo's out there as well. so parents are too lazy to check on there kids while they playin outside...i loved to play outside when i was a kid, rode my bike for miles, played football with my friends, played freeze tag. this is why these kids are so out of shape, all the day is play video games. one of my lil homegirls told me when she has her kids she aint gonna let them play video games. at first i thought that was kind of harsh. but this thread proves her point unfortunately.
