No, at first he wasn't really praised here or anywhere else. Actually not a lot of people here gave him props on his music. After Funk Volume started to create a buzz, he put out some quality videos, and got the collaboration with Tech then more people started to listen. I'm glad they started to listen because Hopsin is immensely creative and talented.

Just because people on siccness didn't catch onto what was really going on didn't mean he didn't have a buzz before tech's collab, infact I gave the dude a chance even before I started using facebook, which is the reason I even made a facebook was cause hop, but Strange is semi-right, people here didn't know what the fuck to do cause nobody knew of him and they didn't wanna take the chance at saying "oh he's dope" just because he had no rep, which leads me to previous music of his before Raw, I look at that shit like it's just pre-raw, I enjoy (i want to say all) most.. . .. his music. Plus if you've ever been into his tinychat, it's a boredom killer forsure.
Actually, now that I recall it, people on thereal dot com had more of an open mind then people here. So this is most likely why hopsin doesn't give you guys even the time of day anymore. He knows what you are, I know what you are. And us being the people we are, we'd prefer to just stay the fuck away.

Who gives one triumphant fuck whether or not he comes on here because we aren't rubbing his balls? I like the kid's music. Been listening to him before he made his appearance in Fame and can remember when I heard his raps from the other room when my mom was watching it. Totally surprised and happy for him. If he doesn't want truth, then fuck him. Let him find an outlet of people that will "yes, man" him into musical non-existence if he wants to.
And as for you, if you'd lay off the dust yourself, you wouldn't be half as hard to get along with as you are. Come in here with that holier-than-thou attitude quoting Tech songs like they're the words of Freud or Billy Graham. That's why you get laughed off this site. I'm not a bad guy at all, you misconstrue what i'm saying in your favor, any human does so, i'm not acting a certain way, i'm just not the majority type, if ya'll wanna hate, so be it, but you can't suck me into the game of lies and false hype. you can say i'll run into the store when they say, but i bought my raw album off his site, and techs 6's7's from bestbuy the day after cause i really was waiting for that one and after listening to it i knew it was worth having in hand. just to clarify that.
