im reading 1984 right now. Good book so far. It is amazing how relevant and prophetic the book is unfolding to become.

Well, I'm not sure if there still is an Illuminati. I have always believed there is an elite group of connected people who in many ways, control the "world." They may or may not be the illuminati, they may have once been the illuminati but not anymore, there are a number of possibilities. All we know is that there once was a group called the illuminati and what they were capable of.
There is a good movie called "Brotherhood of the Wolf" which is about the illuminati. The movie obviously uses the wolf to represent the French Revolution and it illustrates the fear and bloodshed the "wolf" caused. Towards the end of the movie you learn that the "occult" or Illuminati was controlling the wolf to cause this terror. This is actually very well documented. The illuminati were in fact very much involved in the French revolution and a number of other wars. This is what we know.
I think most of the shit I read is pure speculation. It’s difficult to determine what is real and what isn’t. I have yet seen any solid proof that clearly shows the illuminati still exists today. Now, this doesn’t mean there are not powerful groups with similar ideologies pulling the strings. This I know is certain.

Yes and no. The US signed the declaration of independence on July 4, 1776. If you ask the government why they put that number in their dollar, this is the answer they will give you.
But that year was also the year that Adam Weishaupt established the Illuminatti.

If it means anything to you, the documents I posted were straight from the Library of Congress. You can learn about the federal reserve all over the place. The history really isn't a secret at all.
Anything about the Illuminati, I think, should be taken with a grain of salt. Definately learn about the website, research any links, authors etc. You're right...there is a lot of bullshit out there, but at the same time there is a lot of truth...this true for just about anything else on the net.
