not being able to open weed inside a retail in washington is fuckign retarded, and these dispensaries are sketched out too cause most arent even supposed to be open, so they dont want the smell of weed in there either

im crossing my fingers when medical disappears theres going to be a weed flood, and there'll be dank everywhere on the street for super cheap lol. well there already is but yeah like, more lol

Well yeah the only places you can currently buy recc weed in Oregon are actual medical dispensaries. They let them start selling up to a 1/4oz of flowers a day to recreational users back in Oct while they figure out all their recc guidelines and the such. You currently can not buy any concentrates or edibles unless you are a medical patient though. I think actual recc shops out there open later this year they just wanted to get a jump on the black market and not wait almost year and half after legalization like we did for the shops to open.

I don't think they've said yet if recc there will have to come prepackaged from the growers like it does out here or not. I haven't kept up with what's going on down there too closely but it sounds like they might co-opt the medical dispensaries to be able to sell to both and open some solely recc stores on top of that which I think was the CO model and makes more sense then what ours is for sure.

I'd love if they let you choose from the jar out here but honestly the only places that would work by customer volume is the smaller locations that don't do a ton of traffic or the really big ones that have lots of floor space for people like Dockside Sodo. Places like Ike's and Seattle Tonics are busy enough as is if they had everyone standing around choosing nugs all day it would take forever.

actually i already know lol, they'll just set a default frame cap... really low probably 25-30 FPS, defaulting at like 160ms-200ms input lag, so we can all share the console experience together lol

Quickly looking it seems to be on a shop by shop basis. Looks like some growers prepackage for the shops, some shops do prepackaged in-house themselves, and some are more your traditional medical dispensary model set up but for recreation. Probably all depends by the location, size, and volume of traffic the place gets for what they decide they want to do. Nice to have the options I'm sure.
