hmm, how's that going to work? theres already significant input lag on online multiplayer, shits going to be pretty bad. if it works out that'll be sweet but im negative and dubious right off the bat lol

There shouldn't be extra lag. For example with a game like The Division you log in to Ubisoft's Uplay servers to play no matter what platform you play on, they can easily mesh the servers together if they want.

SquareEnix has been doing it for 3 years already with FFXIV on PS4 and PC. PS4, PS3, and PC players are completely intertwined with each other in that game and there's been no issues and that's a massive MMO way bigger than any shooter game.
