I remember the first time we saw the video for
too we were at that dude's spot getting stoned and doing whip-its. I already fucked with Juvie's music since first hearing him on BG's Chopper City and then his Soulja Rags album but most my friends had never heard that NO shit at that point. It was about 50/50, half loved it, half hated it, but girls liked to shake their asses to a lot of that NO rap and bounce stuff when we played it so everyone at very least tolerated it lol

Neither New Orleans or Memphis would have had their distinct sound back then if it wasn't for this song
that shit was a game changer in both of those cities for whatever reason. Shit barely made a blip in NYC (Showboys were from Queens) but laid the foundation for those two Southern cities in the rap game.

Damn I never knew that. I was only aware of the impact Triggaman had on the NOLA music scene, not Memphis. I guess you learn something new every day.
