if my son ever tells me how many grams of chicken he had for lunch I will smack the shit out of him
That was my dinner my close and only friend

You can't eyeball meat when you're working with 1240 calories that shit can range from 500-900 calories easily. Especially shit like steak; that shit can be 1400+ a single steak

Thank you for the support

Yeah; was 268lbs (and even heavier than that at certain points in my life maybe even 280-290). Down to 168

I bought a food scale to gain a better understanding of portion sizes and it was pretty eye opening to see how small servings of things actually are. For the most part I was way, WAY underestimating actual serving sizes. And there's data that proves even the most adamant and knowledgeable people like nutritionists and dieticians can't even accurately assess their portions and overshoot / undershoot by as much as 10-20% if they aren't using an actual scale. If they're doing that how bad was I? For example I had been using like 4-5 servings of cheese when I thought it was more like 1-2. It's pretty amazing how little cheese is actually in a serving vs how much we use. But now I only really use it for meat, and I realize it's pretty obsessive and ridiculous and it's kind of more of a joke in here because for a couple of months I pretty much typed the weight of everything I ate and it seemed to bug people lol

This is what 120 calories of low fat ice cream looks like. If you were to go by the container, and use volume say "a half cup" you could easily put in twice as much. Or you want to use a "tablespoon" of olive oil, and pull out your actual tablespoon and use that, you might be overshooting the actual serving size weight by about 40%. Every little bit counts when you're trying to make weight loss progress

Same goes for dry ingredients like cereal, other stuff. It's amazing how much packaging lies to you. Let's say you eat an entire bag of doritos and you think it's 2000 calories for example; if you actually weighed it you'd find it out it might've been 2300 because most of the time they give you more

nah man ive always been a fat fuck. ive stayed at about 280 for several years ("I stand 6 foot 280 come crush'em like a bull" C-Bo). Trying to get down to 180

Its probably cause William206 (one of my real life friends) made that "i weigh 106lbs" thread when he was going through a major life crisis and wasnt eating for months lol. i think hes like 140 right now
lol I googled "I stand 6 foot 280 come crush'em like a bull" trying to figure out what C-Bo song that was to post it up, then google popped this up as the first result
