The only way to stop guns is with more guns in the right hands. I say we give a free 9mm handgun to each and every law abiding American who is 18 or older, and encourage them to be heroes. If they think someone's about to go nuts and pull a mass shooting then encourage them to take them out preemptively

No the news just needs to be more responsible with it's reporting. It's sensationalist as fuck and is causing this shit; these people know they'll get mass attention and infamy. That and all the mental health services that have been cut need to come back and need to be expanded. We need to restructure our tax laws so that these big companies aren't getting gargantuan breaks here and close some loopholes, while at the same time remaining attractive to them and giving them fair incentives to stay in America. America is one of the only countries that has a repatriation tax and its huge like 35% and thats why Apple and all those people hold their money and keep jobs overseas. Maybe eliminate it but close loopholes here, or do something that's fair. That'll help pay for it and also help us strengthen our infrastructure holy shit im stoned

I strongly oppose gun control. Guns are totally illegal here (aside from highly highly regulated hunting shotguns) and I have never seen a law abiding citizen with one. I only seen cops, a couple of street gangstas and a drug dealer with them. People still get shot in London, stabbings are just more common. You could make everything illegal and people are still gonna kill each other somehow. Thats just the nature of humanity.
