im pretty sure now you can get thousands of gold in just one day, theres probably like a different kind of mount thats five times as fast as the old epic mounts. and pretty sure all the gear i destroyed is probably trash compared to what there is nowadays

no i just realized how terrible of a game it was, and was pissed off that blizzard outright lied about what the game would be about. they advertised it as world pvp, talked about town raiding for months, cities being raided, all this shit. then they completely ruined world pvp with the shitty honor system. they deleted all traces of everything they said teh game would be; teh whole goal was for it to not be like everquest with the shitty ass raiding in instances. but people literally farmed honor points all day instead of actually using real skill. pvp turned into farming, and the end game turned into raiding shit for months on end just to get some gear good enough to go farm points in pvp. gay

this is what i had back in the day. i was the second person to get it on the server i was on, and i crafted it myself too which was even more bad ass. people would run away from me in pvp cause it was ridiculously overpowered at the time lol. they used to calculate delay into the damage calculations, so 3.8 was the highest possible damage you could do, before they completely changed their whole damage formula to make faster weapons better than big heavy ones. i would critical mortal strike people for 2,000 damage, which was the highest damage possible except for mage criticals at the time. it was pretty bad ass to one strike rogues and shit who would try and kill me lol. i was a tauren warrior
a typical pvp battle vs rogue would go like this: rogue comes out of nowhere out of stealth, stuns me, does like all this shit, stuns me again, keeps doing all this shit, im stunned for like 6 seconds straight or some bullshit cant even move or do anything, finally get unstunned, warstomp the rogue, stun them, use overpower, hit for like 600, have enough rage to mortal strike, do between 800-2200 damage, rogue dead almost instantly lol

tell me this: with all that gear, and your high ass level, and countless hours spent on the game, run up to a creature the same level as you. how long does it take to kill? 2-5 seconds?
how long did it take you to kill something at level 1 with absolutely no gear at all. 2-5 seconds? lol
