I've found/hard turned into me so many hype kits over the years. It's always funny when they actually show back up asking if one was turned in, it's pretty rare though.
Hype kit? As in hypodermic needles as in a heroin tool kit? Lol

Yeah they usually give money its a common thing for all limo services at places like this and at hotels. We have a couple of tried and true services we use though cause some of these guys just park somewhere and don't wake up in time for the 3am 4am pickups and shit. And most people are already cutting it pretty close to their flights and end up having to get a cab and they usually hate cabs

I've also had tar heroin handed to me that had broke through the bag just enough to stick to a $20 that I didn't notice until a few minutes after the fact and the couple had walked away. I couldn't stop laughing and the off duty officer was standing right there and I was like "Look at this dude" and he said "Fuck you care if we just throw that away I don't wanna go through all that right now" so I chucked it in the garbage lol.

Yeah man. All the fucking time. If it's a fanny pack left in the bathroom, hype kit. Haven't had it not be one yet out of like 20 over the years lol.
I haven't ever dealt with one. When I'd find needles in pioneer square I'd call one of the field supervisors and they'd show up with a sharps kit and gloves and all that. It's kind of an overkill pain in the ass policy but I like it cause I don't have to touch them lol.

That reminds me one time some tourist was wearing sandals and stepped on a needle lol. It went full on into her toe. She freaked out and asked me if it was a needle. I looked at her and said "That is definitely a syringe needle, and probably is a heroin needle not a diabetic one" She started crying and freaking out and her husband was pissed and asking me what to do. I was like "well personally I'd call the cops then get an ambulance ride and go to the hospital and get it cleaned and get whatever shots they recommend, then try and sue the city for the bill. But to be honest it probably won't work" then the husband vented his rage on me and they left lol

We've also had a few loaded clips turned in or found also. Three that I can think of off the top of my head during one of my shifts. Those people, those people should not have guns.
Ever have someone try and open carry in the theatre
Like "no maniac is shooting up the theatre on my watch!" Meanwhile freaking out every single customer who thinks he's going to shoot up the place lol
