Ok man, for the last 4 years or so, Emmitt has had no passing game to help him out. And yet he has still been able to gain over 1,200 yards a season fo the past three seasons (not including last year when he only had a little over a G') But he has done that with 8 man fronts and shit and teams stacking up against him cause they know he's the only real threat the Boys got. Fuck that homie, he may be a dinasour as you point out, but he's a got damn good one and has been his whole career. So dont talk down on Emmitt until you show me a 49er running back that has accomplished half the shit Emmitt has.
And as far as the Cowboys this year go realisticlly, I aint gonna come out and say that they gon' win the super bowl or even get to the playoffs, cause I know they have sucked for a while now. But if Q carter can at least prove that he can be a legitimate passing threat, then they just might turn some heads. We already got a tight ass D, and if our O comes thru, then we gonna be tight. Real talk.

Im sayin tho, knock on wood and everythang, but if he survived through last year without landin on the injured list, then nothing leads me to believe this year would be any different. They got a new offensive coordinator (their main problem last year) and Q Carter is a year matured. But all Emmitt needs is like 540 yards or sumthin like that..... So barring an injury to one of the most durable backs ever to play, hell break the record by week 7 or so.
I do agree that Emmitt is one of the all-time greats, his running style may not be as fancy as Barry Sanders but nonetheless it was still good and very productive. His running style can last him for another 2-3 years if he wants but you have major flaws in your post.

and Emmitt Smith STILL got his 1,000 yards. It doesn't get any worse then dead last. Our offensive play calling last year sucked it was unattractive and SIMPLE, you can probably call better plays then him.
And now we have moved into the form of a WCO, Bruce Coslett is running the offense. And as an offensive coordinator with the Bengals not a head coach but as an offensive coordinator his offensive passing has ranked in the top 5 for several years.
And our passing game has gotten WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY better. We drafted WR Antonio Bryant, if you don't know who he is you will know in a year fo show. And WR Ken-Yon Rambo is coming a long also (THANK YOU FOR RELEASING HIM RAIDERS!!!! :classic. And most importantly Quincy Carter has a year of experience in the NFL. So we will not be in dead last plus we have an offensive coordinator that actually knows how to call plays.
So if Emmitt can get 1000 yards with a dead last passing offense imagine what he's gonna get with a better passing offense? Logic will tell you that his numbers will only get better.
And he's gonna break Walters record with no problems, if you don't believe you will believe by hmmmm week 6. The goal is to get Emmitt the record as soon as possible.

IM THE SAME WAY THOUGH BASICALLY BECAUSE BONDS HAS BEEN MY FAVORITE PLAYER EVER SINCE HE CAME TO THE GIANTS. I LIKE THE A'S AND GIANTS BUT JUST LIKE THE GIANTS MORE. No you won't because our strength is the run, even though we got incredible receivers with Galloway, Ismail and Bryant our strength will always be our run offense. Our offensive philosophy is is hammering it with Emmitt, and Troy Hamberick then playaction pass to our receivers. And you know that Galloway is the fastest receiver in the NFL and Rocket Ismail is close behind him so logic would tell you that if you bite on a playaction pass against those receivers they will blow by you.
Well Emmitts has been running with 8-9 man fronts for 4 seasons ever since 98 when Irvin was the only receiver. Emmitt will do it again, like I said his body is not of a human he's made of steel. And our offense is better since we are going with QC's strength and thats a moving offense like the WCO. Bruce Cosletts running offense was #1 when he was an offensive coordinator and he'll admit that he has never had a powerful O-Line like the Cowboys or a running back like Emmitt. And he's worked with a QB like Quincy Carter before remember Jeff Blake? He was a great passer in Cosletts offensive system.
