LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! quincy carter better then Vick....HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
you got some bad info homie, he wasnt rated better for shit commin outta college...the reason Carter left early is because he was NOT gonna be the starter in Georgia for his senior year. there is a reason he was drafted so late, Qb's dont slip through cracks in the draft
I did not get bad info homie, I've been following Quincy his whole career in Georgia, I've seen what the brotha can do on the field for 3 years, I know him like the back of my hand. Quincy was one of the best QB's in college football his Freshman and sophmore year. His junior year he was injured, and you saying that Quincy was not going to start is silly speculation. A healthy Quincy is very hard to beat, and a freshman can not beat the brotha.
He had a rough junior season because of an injury to his throwing thumb. And his draft stock dropped because of the bad final year, but you can't deny how good he was his first 2 seasons in Georgia lets revisit.
1998 176-290 2487 yds 60.7% completion 12 TD's 9 INT's 140.2 Rating
1999 216-380 2713 yds 56.8% completion 17 TD's 6 INT's 128.4
And this was all done without a good offense. He had Champ Bailey as a WR his first season which was cool but his second season QC took over the team and lead them to the Outback Bowl where he outgunned DREW BREES a highly touted QB. No doubt a healthy QC his final year could've done OK, there offense still sucked but QC could've made something out of nothing.
YOU HAD IT TWISTED AND I WAS RIGHT QC was rated better than VICK coming into 2001...do I need to bring out proof? Here you go....And this is one of many draft reports that had Quincy rated better than Vick
Surprise! Georgia's Carter may be 'top dawg' in 2001 NFL Draft.
By Jim Carley
"All eyes will be on quarterback in the NFL Draft again next season, but it might not be the one you think. Virginia Tech's Michael Vick and Purdue's Drew Brees are getting most of the preseason publicity around the country. But underclassman Quincy Carter of Georgia is the one pro scouts value above them all. And as such, Carter sits at the top of Street & Smith's Mock Draft 2001.
The 6-2, 200-pound Carter will be a fourth-year junior and, with his worth sky-rocketing, many observers expect Carter to come out for next year's draft. Carter played minor league baseball for two years before returning to football and will turn 23 during this season.
He's considered a quarterback in the mold of the " Quarterback Class of 1999." which produced such players as Tim Couch, Daunte Culpepper, Cade McNown and Donovan McNabb. Scouts say no quarterback of that caliber was in last year's draft, and NFL teams are anxious to get Carter.
Carter has good size, a great arm and is very athletic. His elusiveness and " escapability " make him especially valuable to the pros. " He has that ability ", says one NFL scout " to make something out of nothing".
