The question is will this be at 140 or 147. Mayweather should probably win either way, but he may need a tune up as Marquez is still #2 best fighter in the world imo.

Also it's clear what Mayweather is doing. He wants to beat marquez, pacquiao's arch enemy and set up a super fight with pacman.

I've been reading around and its getting closer. JMM wont go more than 143 and PBF says he won't go lower than 145, so they are basically talking about 2 pounds. It's a huge difference in my opinion.

Vegas will probably be the venue. I'm going for sure if it happens...

^ Hook me up with a ticket; you must get great deals, as often as you go to these fights. I've never been to one, but this is the type of fight I'd love to see.

I *might* go...but I'm not paying $600. for a ticket in the nosebleed section...

^All you gotta do is hang out in the parking lot. You can get tickets for 1/2 off face value on any big fight. The only problem is you might have to sit alone.

I dont really get deals. I either get them for free or I pay standard prices. Most of the free tickets I get are UFC events, which I mostly pass up. That's really how it works because no one is going to sell them for a discount. Fights like this and other proclaimed "sold out" fights are almost always marked up from the stub price.

True, there are people waiting around the office box and outside trying to sell tickets to fights, and only once have I seen someone trying to sell it for half (last minute deal).

I'm online or on the phone with ticket master the second the tickets go on sale. Then I'll get a flight+hotel package to Vegas and bring my girlfriend at the time. I dont do it all the time, but twice a year is good...

I would think the cheapest seats would be $100 for this event, and they arent too different than the $200 ones. You need to pay $300 and up to start noticing. It all depends on the venue though.

Marquez called out Mayweather after the Diaz fight. Now that Mayweather has responded, why is there an issue about weight? I hope this fight gets done, not too many good fights this year with the exception of next weekend.

as of right now its pretty much even with mayweather having just 1 more vote for win by decision. this fight needs to happen and it needs to happen yesterday!

Marquez by a KO somewhere in the mid-late rounds.

what?? You're crazy! Marquez is a good match up for Floyd, he's going to make Mayweather look good.

They are both counter punchers, so it may not be extremely crowd pleasing, but Floyd can do everything Marquez cannot do (like dodge punches lol).
this is going to be the best fighter floyd has ever faced, there are only a few fighters out there on his level right now dude is going to knock the ring rust right off em. Diaz was a fast fighter with great combos and a never say die attitude but he didn't have shit for power either...just like Floyd...only difference is just like you said....his defense is tip top.

Floyd is going to be fighting for his pride in this fight and i think the pride is going to get him in trouble, Marquez is not the fighter he wants to run into coming out of "retirement". He better have been lifting those weights getting stronger or else he is in for the fight of his life.
