Flair trashes Bret Hart

the thing about bret is he didnt respect the business....the reason he got screwed in montreal was his own fault.....when youre leaving a company you drop the belt and you do it when the boss says....he didnt want to lose it in canada and didnt wanna lose it to shawn,which is what the boss wanted......
i respect people who do their job....ric made a lot of stars outta people by bringing them up and making them look good.....before luger or sting or a host of other people wrestled flair they were nobodies....bret never helped put anyone over
thats why i respect jeff jarret....for his last match in wwe he was told to drop the title to a woman,chyna.....he didnt want to do it(and who would) but outta respect for the business he did....bret wouldnt lose to arguable the biggest star in the fed at the time....bret is a scrub

That's true Tragic. However, mcmahon said that was cool, then fucked bret during the match. So I think both were at fault imo. McMahon should held his ground and not done any snake shit like that. Also bret said he was willing to drop the belt just not in canada. If I was mcmahon I woulda honored that. And ric flair a bitch because he took the wcw belt to the wwf in 91 so you tell me who doesn't respect the business. But I see your point bro.
actually didnt bret still plan on droppin the belt on the following raw? or something like that...remember that documentary, vince even agreed with how he wouldnt lose it that night in montreal...but since vince changed his mind last min it was actually he who fucked up not bret...bret had alot of pride esp since at the time canadians looked up to bret...
I swear Flair did classic shit with the 4 Horsemen, against the Road Warriors, against sting, dusty rhodes, Barry Windham, the rock and roll express, the midnight express...
Truth is that I was more into the NWA than the WWF. So I watched alot of the stuff outside of the WWF. Not saying that Bret Hart didnt do some good shit.. In all aspects, I respect what Bret Hart did for Wrestling.
to me, both are Legends. I actually wouldnt mind wrestling with Bret (not "pro wrestling", but grappling) to see what I can learn from him. I've heard alot of good shit about Stu Hart.

the reason flair took the belt with him is because back then the NWA belt was a sacred belt and all champs back then had to put a 20k deposit down on it in case they lost it or damaged it....when he decided to make the jump he offered to lose the title but they wasnt gonna pay him his deposit back...he finally sent it back like 6 months later when they coughed up the money.....yes ive read flair autobiography lol...after that happened they never made another wrestler pay a deposit
The story goes that it wasn't really Vince's idea to do the whole "screwjob" thing, untill other people suggested that Eric Bischoff would somehow convince Bret to keep that belt. It was suspected that Bischoff would throw the belt around on Nitro... It wasn't so much distrust for Bret Hart, but Bischoff.
