got my copy at gamestop on my lunch break.
the gamestop tournament this year is for $10,000, but I'm disappointed to see it's an online tournament this year. Last time it was in store which meant less people and two, the finalists won a trip to Vegas, and really that's all I wanted to do was to be a finalist so I could go to Vegas and meet mike tsyon and shane mosley. Plus, I'm concerned about lag online. oh well

Here's my Clubber Lang, I used the gameface so it's as accurate as you can get, height, weight, even AI is accurate.

The first two rounds literally run away the entire time. Don't even bother throwing a punch. Just run, run and run away, and when he does get close, block. If you get trapped against the ropes, you can TRY to push him off. But try not to get trapped. The key here is to try and survive the first two rounds without going down (because there is a save point after round 2).
The next three rounds you have to land 75 body punches combined. This is the part that took me a while but what I ended up doing was in the first round (which would be round 3), just land as many body shots as you can and you can probably suffer a knock down or two (provided you make the first two rounds without going down) and rack up about 60 or so punches. Just do lots of combo punches to the body and remember to block.
In round 4, just run most of the round and survive.
In round 5, just run most of the round and single shot to the body every now and then until you get 75. After you survive round 5, the rest is easy.

I played one online game last night I was diego corrales my opponent was pernell whitaker I won by 9th round KO. Good fight.
What I'm really hoping is that the devs add more weight classes. I read on the forum they have the ability to change this on the servers so there wouldn't need to be a patch. If they don't I already know what's going to happen - the same bigger guys are going to be chosen forcing you to choose a bigger guy. They need to break the middleweight up. I mean, if I pick pacquiao at 147 pounds and my opponent picks sugar ray robinson at 160 is that fair? hell no. At the very least they should add a welterweight division and lump all the 140-147 guys into that, that way all the 154-160 guys will be in middleweight.
so simple yet I guess this is just too complex for EA!
