yup i forgot to add the part about watching the dog while it eats. some dogs get too excited and woff it down.. fish heads alone have alot of nutrition. whole fish id worry with all the tiny bones they have. i do give my girl the fish oil pills thought the only thing keeping me from doing raw is id need an extra freezer to store every thing.

when your feeding your dogs on the raw food diet, theres no dry dog food involved? its just strictly raw food? cuz i've been thinking about giving my dog raw food for a minute now...
you want to slowing introduce a raw diet first. half and half for one to two weeks. and gradually take your dog off dry food..

You can mix if you HAVE to, but I wouldn't, the dry can actually block the dogs stomach since it takes alot longer to digest than raw,you dont half digested meat sitting in your dogs stomach while it waits for the kibble to digest. The dog's stomach may have problems afterward aswell going from something so heavy like kibble, to something that digests so quickly like raw meat.

Not to mention you will be cleaning up the sickest looking and smelling dog shit ever lmao. My dog takes a dump, and it disappears before i can shovel it up, since it's such a small amount.

Yeah, pits are notorious for making food vanish instantly lmao. A good way to keep them from doing it, or stop them as well is to feed it to them frozen so they are forced to chew. It's also good for their teeth, never brushed my dogs teeth, and they look better than any dog i've ever owned.

but once a dog is on dry food you cant switch to raw cold turkey. The dog needs to adapt to the new diet..

Sorry, I should have clarified, but I thought that would be a given after your "introduction post." Definitely didn't want him to do that, damn I should go over these posts before I submit them lol
