Christmas 1990 I was with my grandpa & we were going somehwere & he seen someone he had known for 30+ years on the street corner begging for money.
He stopped & asked him WTF he was doing here & the fucktard tried to convince my hard working grandfather that what he was doing was ok & that he had already made $2200 for the day.
We drove off & my grandpa told me don't ever be a bum, don't ever ask for money, don't ever stoop so low, the guy we had just seen owns a home & had been successful & was duping people for their money.
Ever since then I always second guess if the person really needs it or not. Honesty is the best policy, & if someone says they need it for food, Ill buy them a meal. If someone don't say why they need it & is just standing there with a sign, pretty good chances it's for false pretense & fuck them.

This is the EXACT reason I never give Bums shit. I really do not feel bad for them at all. Pretty much all of them (with the exception of people with deformities n shit like that) could find work and support themselves if they really wanted to. If I was living outside in the freezing cold I would do ANYTHING to change my lifestyle, if you apply yourself and really try to find work you can. But they choose not to. They just sit on a fuckin corner asking us to hand them money we have earned. NOPE. Not from me. Fuck you.

Shit is becoming an epidemic in Phoenix. Seems like every single busy intersection in this city has people with signs standing on it and most of them have decent looking clothes and fresh hair cuts and the ones that don't you can easily tell are tweakers.
