Christmas 1990 I was with my grandpa & we were going somehwere & he seen someone he had known for 30+ years on the street corner begging for money.
He stopped & asked him WTF he was doing here & the fucktard tried to convince my hard working grandfather that what he was doing was ok & that he had already made $2200 for the day.
We drove off & my grandpa told me don't ever be a bum, don't ever ask for money, don't ever stoop so low, the guy we had just seen owns a home & had been successful & was duping people for their money.
Ever since then I always second guess if the person really needs it or not. Honesty is the best policy, & if someone says they need it for food, Ill buy them a meal. If someone don't say why they need it & is just standing there with a sign, pretty good chances it's for false pretense & fuck them.
