This game is amazing. So much shit to do. I like the leveling system a lot more than Oblivion. The world is huge. The graphics are so much better than previous Bethesda games. The world feels a lot more alive with so much going on.
I just copped my ps3 copy from gamestop. Got my thc edibles on deck and ready to get immersed in the shit. I read xbox users are having trouble with graphics when they dl this game onto the hd.
It seems like everyone is fine just posting in here.
I've done so many quests and I've just stayed in one city so far. Anyone else find a treasure map? I got one from a bandit but I have no clue where it's pointing me to.
I was gonna go to the midnight launch but for some reason my alarm clock never went out.. I went to bed at like 9 set my alarm for 11:30 but shit didn't happen.. Ended up workin out aight as i got called into work hella earlie and picked it up after that.
Got the weekend off (and turned off my phone jus incase work decided to call me in again) and ate them two edibles i had from last night like a hour ago.. Im about 5hrs into the game and only lvl 4.. Made myself a dark elf that looks all mainy.. Trying to do stealth + magic + range and been workin good so far.. Done about 3-4 quests and did the first dungeon for the shout.. So much to explore and do i get side tracked hella easly just stealing shit and spent like a hour runnin around learnin about enchanting and stuff..
I can see hours bein drained.. Those brownies startin to kick in.. Time to pop open a full throttle and smoke this chopper ass blunt i got.. This shit is sick
Fuck, I just spent the last 20 minutes climbing a steep, snowy mountain only to find nothing more than a beautiful, well detailed view of the world. fml....
Earlier, I saw a bunny fall into a river and it was struggling to stay upstream and avoid the waterfall, I pulled my bow out and nailed it. Then its body floated downstream and onto a shoreline where I took its meat, saw a moose eating grass and it gave me a oh shit look and started moving and my arrow pierced its neck but the fucker ran away..Had to pull out my 2 maces and chase its ass for at least 5 minutes and all I got was its meat and hide I think..
On a eating break though, after that yall won't hear from me for the rest of the night..its got me like
One of the best detailed games I ever seen in my life, the world really pulls you in too..
im kind of mentally preparing how im going to shell out my character
so usually in RPGs you can 'gimp' yourself, meaning you try to round out your character to be skilled in everything, and you end up being mediocre / shitty in EVERYTHING but not GREAT at any one particular thing.
is this a game where if you try and round it all out youll end up gimped?
just kinda wondering how i should do this, if i should plan to focus my character on one specific thing or can you be a fuckin dual wielding stealth type with magic and all that rolled in one? in elder scrolls 3: morrowind i had heavy armor and was stealth / i could heal myself and all that

From what it looks like, you can level up and max out all of your abilities. But you need to spend your perks wisely on skills you will use the most. Picking which character you want is important for what skills you want to use later, but don't worry because they have details on what each character is naturally good at.
This game is simplified as far as leveling up compared to the other Elder Scrolls games, I don't think there will be too many drastic penalties if you use all skills.
