^ agree but i can see mayweather already smiling once he heard this kid called him out no drama here its all under the same roof no bob arum to fuck shit up and the payday would be insane i say this fight easily does mayweather/de la hoya numbers.
Out does oscar? Hell no man, that was 2.4 million ppv buys. This would do around 1 to 1.4 million at best. Canelo is a huge Mexican star but hes not a big star in the US yet.

They need to make the Chavez fight now...

Canelo Train Slowing Down? Crowd Chants For Chavez Jr.

By Hesiquio Balderas

Mexico City - WBC junior middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Álvarez (39-0-1, 29KOs) scored an easy fifth round stoppage win over former world welterweight champion Kermit Cintron. Alvarez started slow but picked up the pace when Cintron appeared to be visibly hurt and badly tired in the fifth round.

There were two noticeable items, and it wasn't the ease of the victory. The crowd was much smaller than expected. Only 7,000 people were in attendance at Plaza de Toros, which has a capacity for 45,000 fans.

After the fight was over, the fans started chanting for Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., the WBC middleweight champion and Canelo's main rival in Mexico. Chants of "Chavez, Chavez, Chavez" and "Julio Cesar, Julio Cesar" rang out.

The Mexican fans are tired of waiting and want to see the two unbeaten boxers collide, but the fight is not close to a reality because Alvarez's promoter is demanding a catch-weight of 156-pounds, which is impossible for Julio Jr. to make.

damn canelo just called out mayweather for that may 5th date!! now if manny's people dont make that happen i dont see why floyd would fight anyone else but canelo! CHA-CHING!!
There are plenty of people Floyd could fight besides Canelo. Martinez for example. I think that would be a much better fight also. Got Em!!

now we know why floyd really booked that date. he'll definitely duck manny now and take the easier fight.
Im not so sure fighting Canelo over Manny is much easier actually. Got Em!!

I didn't, because pussy boy won't fight manny. he'll take an easier fight, no doubt. GOT EM!!
I aint gonna get into an immature back and fourth Manny/Floyd bashing but I highly disagree with u and I think either Manny or his camp are the pussies actually. Just my take. Got Em!!

Canelo would get picked apart by Mayweather.. and this is coming from a Canelo fan..

maybe in a couple years.. right now he's better suited for Chavez Jr.

Anyone hear Freddy Roach say he thinks Chavez Jr can beat Sergio Martinez?? I dont know what Freddy Roach is smoking!!

I ain't bashing what floyd does in the ring, it's what he does before getting in there that's the problem. he calls himself money mayweather and he isn't lying. it would be a bad business move for him to fight manny. floyd has everything to lose in the fight. so why fight someone who might actually beat you, when you can pick out other fighters that you know you can beat and still make millions? pac already has losses, so another one wouldn't be a big deal. for floyd it would look like all of the negative things people said about him are true and he would be clowned relentlessly.

Im just talking about the name calling period which is kinda silly to me. Anyway another loss for Manny would be a great deal actually. If he wouldve lost that decision to Marquez (which he shouldve) then there is no Manny/Mayweather fight to even talk about as no one would care anymore. Thats why Manny got the decision in the first place! Also u act like Manny is the only good boxer out there and that he is the only threat to Mayweather. Ortiz isnt a bad fighter at all and has great knockout power and is a very dangerous fighter so to me that wasnt necessarily an easy fight goin in. One punch can end it all and Im sure u know that.

When Mayweather fought Mosley he had just knocked out Margarito and everyone was saying Mosley looked as good as he ever looked, then when Floyd beats him everyone says that Mosley is old. People just dont want to give credit where credit is due. Got Em!!

ortiz was never going to knock floyd out and do you really want to brag about floyd beating dude after the way it ended? GOT EM!!

mosely just didn't have enough gas left in the tank to keep up with floyd for 12, he looked good at the start of the fight though. almost knocked that boy out. DOUBLE GOT EM!!

it's going to take a combination of speed, power and stamina to beat floyd. manny has all three, but that doesn't guarantee victory. just gives him a better chance at it than everyone else.

Dude u dont know what wouldve happened if that fight continued and if dude hadnt thrown a jumping headbutt haha. Regardless ortiz is still a very good fighter and I would like to see Manny fight him. Also Floyd knocked that foo out like he was supposed to. Call it what u want to but thats exactly what happened. Atleast he didnt get a decision he didnt deserve! Also in a boxing match anything can happen as we have seen upsets plenty of times so of course Manny would have a chance but he isnt the only formidable opponent out there. Thats all I am saying. Got Em!!

at 147 and below manny is the only guy as of right now. If you go above 147 the only guy that has a chance is sergio martinez. those are the only two guys that have the experience and skills to give floyd problems.

how about Canelo vs Erislandy Lara? I think if he wants mayweather, he should fight someone who is a good defensive fighter, has good speed and is a great counter puncher.

I think that would be the best fight for him to prepare for floyd. Lara is also golden boy so it's an easy fight to make. The obvious problem though is I doubt golden boy would take that kind of risk, especially after the beating lara dished out on paul williams

lol at Lara having good defense. Lara was getting hit by Paul Williams all night. Lara defense is ass cheeks. Canelo vs Kirkland, or Canelo vs Mayweather is fine with me.
