because your experiencing 'human' through a soul, all you have to do is dissassociate from the human part.
Can you please elaborate? How does one disassociate from being human? And what exactly is a soul (what makes it different from human, etc.?)

i hav emuch more to say, but its cool if ya'll don't agree.
do what you think is right..
No worries, we're just having a conversation. I'm just trying to understand where you're coming from

to dissassociate from being human i would explain as allowing yourself to not believe in the illusion of reality. The illusion of reality includes but not limited to, the different extremeties and what we think our perception of them are, like hot/cold, angered/estatic, basically anything that is dualistic. because we've set up our own standards for this, (ex. what is socially acceptable/what is socially unacceptable) it varies among individual people, and different groups/countries/species. so from this standard of how we should live our lives, and how we perceive others, we have created the 'human' association, but in the end its all bullshit lol.

if you let go of that association that you've perceived and given to yourself, you'll for one, feel completely free, and second, you will realize that everything is part of you, because all that is 'seperate' is actually intertwined we just have perceived from our own standard that it is not so.

unconditional love has been long praised as the best path to complete cosmic consciousness(the complete seperation from your own 'seperate' physical being), it allows you not to get rise from what you have previously set a standard of, because w/ unconditional love you are able to accept all that is.

lol oh oh what is a soul? well i can tell you what the english word soul is. the english word "soul" or "alma"(in spanish) is a symbol that english speakers have associated w/ a part of the human being that is not able to be physically observed, it has been associated w/ aura's and other observable scientifical findings. but the soul in fact is a word, therefore making a symbol to all humans, just as much as what i previously said in this post, no matter what take i have on my words and meaning, you will have a different understanding, because of your own symbolic interpretation.

soul just like all words aand things are undefinable from me.

but imo, the atman/brahman relationship is very familiar to the soul and cosmic consciousness relationship. that is why i find hinduism fascinating, but the misunderstandings of social classes and lack of unconditional love for all, allows me to see the flaws of other humans standards that have been included in the religion.

and you can look at "human" as just another animal, but like we've discussed before, we are able to bypass innate reactions, giving us this ability to step outside of the boundary of the regular "animal".

not only are we able to bypass innate reactions, but we are also able to create an individual reality for us where everything can be flipped upside down, or everything can even not exist.

this "206" individual isnt the body, nor is he what is in need of vitamins and minerals, nor is he the individual that is in my body. This individual is what is unexplainable.
scientists say consciousness is electrons, but even if our physical attributes of our consciousness are the same, something within them is by far very different, and very specifically individualized.

my 2 cents

I just read it - It's a great book, it doesn't specifically speak on buddhism or hinduism but rather on man's tendency to seek out another man's teaching rather than seeking direct experience. It's definitely worth reading, no religious bull but more of an analytical examination of spirituality and the search for happiness... Hesse was a german dude who attempted suicide at one point, so you know he was on it!

siddhartha was my favorite book of my high school career, i was lucky enough to have a cool ass english teacher that found it as a motivating book..

the last 20 pages of that book straight up made me cry every other page.

but yeah, taetae is correct, it doesn't speak on any religion, and thats how i feel.

i find the eastern philosophies as being a gateway to opening your mind from western thought(thats a personal opinion, of course) but its not the ONLY way for every being.

actually, i dunno if 2-0-sixx read this book or not, but he speaks about hinduism and the issues he has with it, and that being the social classes, i've agreed w/ that since the beginning of learning about hinduism.

he distances himself from the family in order to find what he feels is right, he goes on a journey, and meets all these different people, and it gets pretty juicy w/ this one lady lol everything eventually falls into place after many issues within himself. to me, its a very inspiring book.
