my homie that lives in Sac,he's originally from Detroit told me that people easily get away with murder all the time in Detroit because the police dont care..........and they built that city in the 1700's, thatz why it's hella old and turfed and they don't rebuild anything over there

shit, detroit had 340 homicides last year... compare that with LA's 375

and that's crazy as fuck considering that LA has 5 times more people than detroit

People in CA and NW aren't used to abandoned blocks and super old weathered buildings. But all cities have em in the midwest not just Detroit. Go to Cleveland, Nati, Gary, Chicago, St. Louis, etc. and its all over not just the D.

yeah living in Flint for two years i'll admit is was scary growing up around there. super grimey. smaller in size but its worst than Detroit.

thatz true,,,,the reason its hella old and abandoned builings iz because most everything in the mid-west was built 200 years before they built stuff in Cali

i read this article called "broken detroit: death of a city block" a little while ago... it talks about how a neighborhood went to complete and utter shit over in as little as 20 years (1950-1970) and beyond.... great article... too bad the stupid ass people who run that website took it down.
