yeah i've been playing on the PS3. Game is tight!!

So, the first thing to know is this is the early build of the game, EA confirmed this. So the main thing you'll notice is the torso's of both pacquiao and hatton being to big. They fixed that, all the new videos you see they fix that problem. Also they toned down the players faces, in the demo they look too "mean" or whatever.

As far as the gameplay, it's very fast. Much faster and smoother than FN3.

The main thing is the game physics. The best I've seen in a game. Things like getting your punch caught in your opponents arm or under his arm, shit like that happens and you'll really appreciate the physics. You simply don't see anything like that in any other game.

One time for example ricky hatton swung a hook at me and it just grazed the top of my head, his arm then looped around the back of my head/neck and he pulled me in towards him and while I was being pulled in I landed an uppercut on his jaw. Here is a pic I took in instant replay:

The controls are a lot different so it's difficult for me right now, but I'm started getting the hang of it. Body punches you do by flicking the joystick down.

Also, I absolutely suck ass at the new bob & weave system. It will take a while to get that down, but it's a great feature in the game.

Overall the game play is dope and the final version will be better too.

The demo is limited on what you can do. You cannot change the difficult settings (its on easy). You start off by doing some basic training and the fight is 3 rounds. The instant reply is awesome (in the retail game you can save and upload your replays). When you win a decision the demo just announces the winner, in the retail game it's more dramatic, etc.

The punch stats after the fight are also very detailed, much more so than in previous versions.

^^it's going to be chaotic as fuck at first, lol. Takes time to get used to, once you do though you can add strategy to your game, although 3 rounds doesn't really allow for much of it.

My biggest complain so far is pacquiao's foot movement isn't fast enough. I feel like I should be gliding in and out with no problem, but he's only slightly faster than hatton on the game. I understand this is an early build so hopefully they fix that shit with the final retail version. I should be unhittable with pacman if I want to be.

^^yeah it takes a while, I still don't have it down but I'm a lot better than yesterday.

I cant get the bob & weave down for shit. I think what I'm going to need to do is just make a two player game, and set one controller down and just practice that. When the CPU does it with hatton it's very effective at times and keeps me missing. Plus, I know it' will be very useful when fighting with Tyson, Fraizer, etc.

The idiots at Game Crazy (the game store inside of Hollywood Video) said they haven't heard anything about this demo.

I mistakingly called them by mistake meaning to call Game Stop formerly known as Funcoland. LOL

But yeah, they confirmed, I'm gonna pick up my code today!

that's the point, imo. FN3 was great for it's time, but there were a ton of limitations and negative things about the game. The whole parry system got extremely cheap and unrealistic. Plus, the single player career mode was whack as fuck. After reading about how deep it will be on FN4, it sounds like it will be 100X better.

Once you get the system down, because it is a lot different than FN3, it becomes much easier. Once you get your combo's down, body punching, bobbing & weaving, and the whole game physics, it blows FN3 away. And the final version will look a lot better, in the demo the character models are whack because the torso's are too fat, so that will be a big improvement in the final version.

Like I said before, I just hope the footwork is faster in the final version, if not that will be it's biggest setback.
