Pac was cool but he wasn't as "street" with it. You didn't hear 2-pac spit that "street" slang too much. No disrespect, Pac was tight but people forget that he was a dancer.

I think it just depends on where you were raised. I was raised in the bay area and what E-40 and the Click (mainly he and B-Legit) was spittin' back in the early 90's is all I saw.... just listen to "Drought Season" the way he and Kaveo was spittin' back and forth. I still bump that today..... "Drought Season and Mr. Flamboyant" are bay area all time classics.

"Mr. Flamboyant, yeah that just might your name,
the center of attention, money, fame"

"comin' around the corner on two shoes, I mean wheels,
stackin' in a 76 cutlass oldsmobile"

I prefer rappers that spit game. Mac Dre was a straight game spitter too. I like his music more than Pac's because, E-40 and Dre spit that street underground rap.

for me it depends on what we talkin bout "the best" is? if it's as far as lyrics and spittin he shits on snoop, short, and ice t. i would have it pac, 40, then cube. 40 is still spittin to this day and is straight gassin 91 octane. can't say the same for artists that been in it as long as him.

Lol what? Every album Pac released was gangsta rap. All his shit had street elements in it. It always makes me laugh when people penalize niggas for trying to branch out and do other shit. Yeah Pac danced background for Digital Underground because that's what he had to do to get in the game. Dr. Dre spit gangsta shit and he dressed up like a woman on the word class wreckin crew shit. Why does that matter? Pac's lyrics are as hard as any nigga's on that list. I can name song after song after song. LOL Pac was beefing wit the whole EastCoast and he wasn't spitting gangsta shit?

E-40 belongs in the top 5. i would say......

2 PAC
E-40
Ice Cube
Snoop Dogg
Mac Dre

Thats for the BEST rappers list. If it was for MOST INFLUENTIAL the list would be different. really only snoop would be replaced with Dr. Dre

I agree, 2 Pac was more mainstream and more people knew about him, thats why he was more popular,
LOL he was more popular because he was a better artist and made better music. And that's not a diss to Bo that is a testament to Pac....But I guess it's no point to argue over who's catalog is better cuz it's all opinion. I'll just let the masses speak. Tupac made music that is felt by people all over the world...C-Bo.....not so much.

That's what I mean, Pac was tight but C-Bo's music was more hood/street. Like I said before‚ no disrespect to Pac but Pac was doin' the humpty dance with a gumby while Richie Rich and the 415 was rappin' about side shows and groupie ass bitches.

c-bo had better beats, his shit was bangin harder than 2-pac's shit,,,c-bo was one of 2-pac's favorite rappers and he even had him featured on "All Eyes On Me".....don't get me wrong tho,i aint sayin 2-pac was weak, but he had alot more exposure than c-bo because of the labels he was with.

just because he was more popular than c-bo doesn't mean he was better than him, it just means he had more exposure, but i guess u are not from that era and u were not a teenager in the 90's and u were not in high school during the AWOL days.

LOL my nigga that is your opinion. There is absolutely no point in arguing about something that is this subjective. LMAO Tupac had some of the greatest beat makers ever on his albums. The nigga has hit after hit after hit. Does C-Bo have that? Not even close. You sound extremely biased right now. It's plenty of niggas that didn't have label backing at that time but are recognized as top tier. 2Pac was a million times more versatile than C-Bo. Who gives a shit who Pac's favorite rapper was, Pac had the whole Bay featured on "Me Against the World" does that mean they're shit is harder than his too? C-Bo isn't near the caliber of MC or hit maker that Pac was. LMAO since C-Bo talking about killing niggas and gang banging a little bit more that means his shit is more street? Pac talked about the streets in a real way. He touched every aspect of what was really going on in the hood. That's why his shit was felt.

LMAO your biases are showing bruh. Tupac was lyrical, musically, and creatively head and shoulders above C-Bo. If C-Bo was the caliber rapper Pac was he would have 10x the exposure that he had back then. And that is not a C-Bo diss. It goes for every other rapper in the game. Please miss me wit that age shit cuz I got C-Bo and Pac in my tape deck right now.

I'm not even finna argue this shit. I feel like I'm talking to a Utah Jazz fan that swears Karl Malone is better than Michael Jordan. I know C-Bo means a lot to Sacramento/Nor-Cal rap but cmon. Better than Tupac. Nigga please. But hey, opinions make the Siccness go round.

c-bo had alot more classic underground hits than 2 pac

2 pac had radio hits.

they were 2 different type of rappers, c-bo was more hardcore and made music for the turf, and 2 pac mostly made music for the radio and people always seen his videos on tv and heard his music on the radio so he sold more records and more people knew about him.

much respect to bo for keepin it 100
