just saw it. honestly when i first saw the trailer i thought it looked wack and didnt have any intentions of watching it. but after reading all the good reviews i decided to see what the hype was about. as it turned out, the movie was hella tight. it was more comedy if you ask me. the shit was hilarious. it's hard to explain, you just have to see it. it's something different and it works.

I hear this movie is awesome.. In fact.. Spook-tacular?

anyways.. I'm going to go see it.

Also.. The rating system has changed from what it was back in the 70s-80s. All the classic R movies you loved as a kid and still do would be rated PG-13 now.
true that

and people also fail to realize that there are even some good pg movies (jaws and poltergeist are all I can think of right now)

Thats what I was thinking but this flicks getting some crazy reviews. last time I checked rottentomatoes, I was at 100 fucking percent.

Raimi's a dope director too. Evil Dead fans will vouch that.
damn I didn't realize this movie is by the same director that did the evil dead movies, that's sick. And it looks like there will be a new Evil Dead in 2010. Hell yeah

This movie is fucking hilarious and pretty damn gory, especially for being pg-13. I really liked it a lot.

On a whole different note, for anyone who likes animated movies Up is probably one of the best ones I've ever seen.

Wow, people really liked this? I find many horror films very funny (vacancy), especially when drunk. I was drunk when I saw this yesterday and laughed a little in the beginning, but this movie fucking sucked.

Have you ever seen the Evil Dead movies? It's like Army of Darkness from those so if you didn't like that you won't like this.

You are the first person to not like this movie out of about 25 people that I know who have seen it. Yet you liked Vacancy and no one I know did... actually, not many people in general did. But hey, you like what you like and don't what you don't. That's life.

What theatre did you go to watch it?

I found Vacancy pretty funny because it was so corny. The girl I was with didn't like Drag Me To Hell.

I saw it at the new Landing theater in Renton by Frys. Pretty nice theater, the seats were comfy and reclined.
